Jessie’s soccer tryout day

Today, I woke up early in the morning at 7:15. We went to church to attend worship first and later [ETC] Exploring Truth Community. I learned not only to take care of myself, but also to take care of the others. That means I should not be self-centered but I should be others-centered. The worship was very funny. I played games in Transitional period. The things in ETC were the same in worship time. I liked it. We ended at 12:30p.m. Then, we went to McDonalds and had lunch with Alex and Jessie. After lunch, we went to Mount Joy to watch Jessie’s soccer tryout. We went inside to the soccer field to watch Jessie. When the game started a man and a little girl was playing soccer in the side of the field. Then, Mike and I asked the man if we could play soccer. The little girl passed the ball to Mike and me. We played until it was half time. Then, we got onto the field and played soccer. There was one goalie and three attackers. We played until the next half began. This time at the side of the field, Alex was in the chain [that was the net] and I had to shot Alex’s ball in there. We practised and practised until it was at the end of the game. Jessie’s team won 2-1. It was a good game. After, we ran on the field to kick the ball around. At 4:00p.m., there was a practice game on the field so we had to kick the ball in the chain again. It was fun. We played until it was 4:27p.m. Next, Jessie’s mom, Auntie Lily,  took us upstairs to watch hockey. When we got there, it was too late. It was clean up time already. So, we left and went to Foody Mart. We bought lots of things. We bought Life Savers. [Those are just freezies not real life savers]. On the way home, I took a life saver and ate it at home. It was a good day. I felt happy.

  2. Great. Good kids always take care of the others, as well as themselves. You are going to become a very good kid in the future.
