Ċrazy hair night

Tonight was crazy hair night in Awana, so my mom used gel, and hair styling spray to make crazy hair for me. First, Mom used gel to make my hair stand up. Second, Mom used hair styling spray to hold my hair up firmly. I earned a buck for making my crazy hair. Today in Awana was a special day. Taylor Murphy is our leader. His twin sister, Megan, went to Haiti as a volunteer. She came tonight to share her experience. She helped the earthquake victims to fix their wounds and she showed us lots of photos. The doctors had to cut off the victim’s arms and legs because they were badly hurt. The buildings and houses collapsed. They used bed sheets as their homes. They lived in the streets. They used buckets as washrooms. They had no food to eat. The children had no shoes to wear and no clothes to keep them warm. They were so poor. We had to donate money to buy food and build more homes for them. We have house to live and clothes to wear, food to eat, and shoes to wear. We are very lucky to have these things. We should thank dad, mom, and our God.
