School Day points & recess
Today I got one point for my group because I finished all my work so fast. My teacher gave my group a point. This was the only point we got today. I was proud of it. I would try my best to get lots and lots of group points tomorrow.
During morning recess, I played soccer with Yameen, Jake, Arul, Roshan and Ericson. We didn’t get to play long. Morning recess was short. At lunch recess, I played soccer with Ericson, Arul, Jake, Rodney, Roshan, and, Yameen. We played a game first. Jake, Scott, Roshan v Arul Ericson and Aeon. My team won. We won 7-1. I scored 5 and Jake scored 2. My team scored so fast. Then we played Offence v Defense. When I blocked one of the shots, Arul was on my right side and I kicked it to my right. I saw that there was a space between his legs and his clothes. I kicked it to there. When I kicked the ball, Arul tripped over. Another time, I had the ball and he crashed his knee on my knee. Arul cried. It should not be a foul. The bell rang. We went back to the classroom to have lesson.

Good piano day & MinĪ Soccer
Today, we went to piano lesson. In theory exercise, Mr. Au said that the notes I had written were nicer than before. He admired me for writing beautiful notes. When I played scales of E Major Melodic left hand he said I was perfect and very good. On G Minor Harmonic right hand he said I was good too and he praised me again. In sight reading, Mr. Au told me before that, I played Four Star very bad. In sight reading test 1, Mr. Au said I played it well. Totally, he praised me 4 times. I am satisfied with this piano lesson.
I could play mini soccer because I played well in piano lesson today. Mom gave me a reward. In the game mom had a red card because of the handball. I had a penalty shot and I scored the penalty. I was happy. Almost at the end of the game, we had few minutes added and I scored at the last minute. I was happy and pleased. The final score was Coventry United 2 and Arden United 4.

Story Retell---- The Golden Goose
Once upon a time, there was a kid called Samuel. Samuel’s mother asked Samuel’s oldest brother to chop firewood in the forest. The brother went into the forest. He met a little old man. The old man asked for food and a drink. But the brother didn’t give him any food and drink. He began chopping firewood and suddenly he slipped his ax and hurt his arm. He couldn’t work any more. So, he went home.
Next, his mother sent the second older brother to chop firewood. His second brother also met the same little old man in the forest. The little old man again asked for food and drink. But the second brother didn’t give him any food and drink. He was as selfish as the first brother. But when he began chopping firewood, he suddenly slipped his ax and hurt his toe. He couldn’t work any more. So, he went home.
Samuel told his parents that he wanted to chop firewood. But when Samuel went into the forest, he saw the same little old man. He asked for food and a drink. But this time, Samuel gave the little old man food and drink. The man felt Samuel kind, so he gave Samuel a reward. The little old man told Samuel to chop the tree down. To his surprise, there was a golden goose inside the tree. He wanted to tell everybody about the golden goose. Samuel went to show his sisters first. The oldest sister wanted to pull one of the golden feathers out. But her hand got stuck on the feather. When the two sisters tried to pull her out, they got stuck too. Later, the minister told the sisters not to run after the boy. So, the minister tried to pull the sisters away. But he was stuck to the sisters too. His wife wanted to help pull the minister out of the sisters. When the wife touched the minister, the wife was stuck. The wife called for help. The two farmers tried to help the wife. But when the farmers touched the wife, they were also stuck.
Then, Samuel took the golden goose to the king. The king told Samuel that whoever made the princess laugh could be his wife. But the king didn’t want to give the princess to Samuel as a wife yet. The king made a list of conditions for Samuel. He said to bring a man that could drink cellarful of cider and could eat a whole mountain of bread. Samuel thought of the little old man. The little old man was still hungry. So, Samuel brought the little old man to the king. The little old man drank all of the cider and ate all of the bread. Now, the king asked Samuel to find a ship that could sail on the land as well as the sea. Soon, Samuel found it. So they were married.
The story teaches us to share things with the others. Also, we should not be selfish.

Mini Soccer *
Today, we played mini soccer at home. After I finished my homework, my mom gave me a break time. Mom was a good goalie this time. I got hurt when my feet were going to kick the ball and my mom was going to save the ball. We bumped together. My left foot was bleeding. My mom cleaned my wound and gave me cream and a bandage. In the second time, I fell down. But this time I didn’t get hurt. So, we set up a safety rule. It was better. In the first time, I scored 2-0. In the second time, I scored 5-0. Then we switched. My mom got 5-1 very soon. Mom was a good player. When we finished playing, it was 5-2. I was very happy and pleased because I won.

Tremor Technology v Rogers Neon Yellow &aew
Today, we went to Milliken Mills Soccer Dome to play the second match of the playoffs. We had to work hard to win this game. In the first half, two of my teammates were in the side of the opponent’s net. The defender was close to my teammates. I was close to my two teammates. The teammates passed the ball to me and I shot. It was so close. It was a miss. A few minutes later, I got a kick but the defender smashed the ball to our side. Our defender kicked it out. My teammate smashed the ball high and it hit the crossbar. I tried to smash it again but I missed it again. It was so close. A few minutes later, our goalie passed the ball to me and I kicked the ball to my teammate. He didn’t get the ball. But the defender wanted to get it. The defender didn’t get the ball too. The ball rolled into the garbage can. It was funny. I laughed. At the end of the first half, it was still 0-0. In the second half, one of the Rogers Neon Players smashed the ball to our net and scored. It was 0-1. It was a good game. But in the second half we got more chances to shoot. Then, we went to McDonalds and went home when we finished lunch. I was happy even though we lost.

Soccer Practice
First, mom was the goalie. She was really bad. I scored 10 goals very fast. Later, we switched. I was the goalie now. I was a good goalie. I had many good saves. Mom scored 10 goals too but used longer time. Once, the ball flied into my tummy. Another time, mom and I kicked the legs together and both were hurt and painful. Mom took a few minutes’ rest. Next, mom kicked the ball in between my two legs. It was a comedy kick. It was funny. Then, we practiced volleying. I missed a lot. It was not good enough. Later, we practiced header. I didn’t miss a lot this time. I was better at header than volleying. After header and volleying, mom was goalie again. Once, the ball hit mom’s chest at the end. Mom told me that it hurts. I have already practiced for 40 minutes. It was time to go. I went upstairs to write my journal. We had a wonderful time in the basement. I had to practice so we could win Rogers Neon Yellow on the coming Saturday.

Ċrazy hair night
Tonight was crazy hair night in Awana, so my mom used gel, and hair styling spray to make crazy hair for me. First, Mom used gel to make my hair stand up. Second, Mom used hair styling spray to hold my hair up firmly. I earned a buck for making my crazy hair. Today in Awana was a special day. Taylor Murphy is our leader. His twin sister, Megan, went to Haiti as a volunteer. She came tonight to share her experience. She helped the earthquake victims to fix their wounds and she showed us lots of photos. The doctors had to cut off the victim’s arms and legs because they were badly hurt. The buildings and houses collapsed. They used bed sheets as their homes. They lived in the streets. They used buckets as washrooms. They had no food to eat. The children had no shoes to wear and no clothes to keep them warm. They were so poor. We had to donate money to buy food and build more homes for them. We have house to live and clothes to wear, food to eat, and shoes to wear. We are very lucky to have these things. We should thank dad, mom, and our God.

In social studies, I finished before the whole class finished. My teacher was very impressed with my work. I gained another group point for my group . Finally it was the end of the day. Purple group was leading on the first day. Whoever has the most points on Friday, gets sweets. They have gotten sweets for more than a month. Now purple group was leading. I hope that tomorrow my group will be leading.
At home, my mom has set up a rewarding system. I can give myself a sticker when I did something good. Today, I got 9 stickers. I answered 8 questions in class. I got stickers even for answering questions. I even got 1 sticker for changing my clothes fast. Today, I totally got 9 stickers.
I felt pleased and good because I got points at school and stickers at home. I know that good behavior can get stickers as a reward. I can also get stickers by answering questions at school.

********THE NEVER ENDING STORY ********
The movie started when Bastian went to school. The 3 school boys bullied him. They asked him to give them his lunch money. But Bastian didn’t have any. They threw him into a big garbage box. He went out of the garbage box and hid in a book store. He found a book called the NEVER ENDING STORY. He didn’t want to do math test, so he went in the attic of the school. He read the book stolen from the book store.
The story was about the “The Nothing” which wanted to destroy the world, Fantasia. Only the Empress could save Fantasia. But she was sick and dying. Only Astrayu could save the Empress. She was dying because she needed a new name. Astrayu had to cross the boundary of Fantasia to find a new name for the Empress. Off he went to find Morla, an enormous tortoise, who could tell the secret.
On the way, Atax, Astrayu’s white horse, fell into a hole of the floating sand and died. Astrayu had to walk to find Morla. Morla asked Astrayu to give up his quest to find a new name for the Empress because it was too hard to walk 10,000 miles. But, he didn’t give up. He walked and walked until a beast wanted to kill Astrayu. Fortunately, a lucky dragon, Falkor, saved him. The dragon took Astrayu 9000 miles to the scientist. The scientist had a telescope to see the Sphinexes Gate. Astrayu wanted to cross the Sphinexes Gate. It was very dangerous because if anyone wanted to cross the gate, it would shoot bullets at the person who would die. Nobody in the world could cross it. When the eyes were shut it meant that the person could cross. When the eyes were open, it meant that the person couldn’t cross. But Astrayu made it through the Sphinexes Gate. He ran quickly so the bullets couldn’t hit him. He passed it. So, he went to the Magic Mirror Gate. He went through the Magic Mirror Gate. A big statue told him to find a human child and get a new name for the Empress. The big statue melt down as the “Nothing” was approaching. It was going to destroy the whole world.
Finally, they got back to the Ivory Tower. The world was already broken into pieces. Empress asked Bastian to shout the new name but he didn’t. The Empress gave him a glowing sand and asked him to make wishes as many as he could. Then, he could save Fantasia. His wish was to ride on Falkor. They chased the 3 school boys. They jumped into the big garbage box to hide. That is the end of the story.
I learned that hopes can destroy problems and challenges.

Mini Soccer Rules
Today is Saturday but we don’t have soccer matches due to March Break. So I made up some mini soccer rules in the morning. The followings are what I wrote:
1. Players must be set up before the game.
2. Goals should be set up correctly.
3. Do rock paper scissors before the game.
4. Whoever wins rock paper scissors gets to start in
the center first.
5. If handball in their own penalty area, it must be a
penalty for the other team and a red card.
6. If not on purpose, a yellow card of sometimes not
even a penalty kick.
7. If red card, player must leave the field and play
with one less player.
8. The ball should be placed at the penalty spot.
9. If a player has a red card, the player cannot
play for many games.
10. If a penalty kick, the player should be the only
one in the penalty box.
11. There is offsides.
12. If ball out of the sideline, it should be a kick in.
13. If ball out of goal line, it should be kicked in by
the goalie.
14. If ball out of goal line, it should be a corner kick.
15. If a goal scored, the ball must be placed in the
center spot and the kick should be for the other
team.
16. The ball in the center spot must be passed back to
own team.
17. Players should not be changed when the game is
still alive.
18. When game is finished, the player must shake
hands with the other player.

World Bowl -------- Bowling Day
Today, we woke earlier because we had to go bowling. We arrived at 10:00 a.m. with Timothy. Auntie Camellie and her daughter and son were already there. There were 7 children altogether. I played with Adrian, Silas, and Timothy. The blue ball was 6 pounds. The brown ball was 8 pounds. The green ball was 9 pounds. I used the brown ball and the green ball only because they were just the right pounds for me. The blue ball was challenging to use because the holes to put your fingers in were too small. All of the players except me couldn't hold the brown and green ball. The others could only hold the blue ball. At the end of the first game, I won. At the end of the second game, I still won. I felt happy because I won all the games. I asked my mom to see if we could play more time. But my mom said no because we had to go to eat lunch.
Later, we went to a Chinese Restaurant. I played Allie’s Ipod after I finished my lunch. I only played the game “Fake Bowling”. I played until we left the restaurant. I felt excited because I knew Timothy was going to my house later. Timothy’s mom drove us home.
After we got home, we played in our house. We played “Secret room meeting” in the play room. When we got bored, we went downstairs. Timothy and I ate sea weed. Next, Timothy and I played “fake Bowling”. We were so pleased. I won the game again. Finally, they left. At 5:00 my mom and I went to the libary to borrow books. The whole day I felt excited.

Going into Narnia
Last Christmas, Ronald, my schoolmate, introduced a book called “The lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” to me. Last week, we went to the library. Coincidently, we found a movie called “Narnia”. It is talking about the book that I read at last Christmas. Today, we watched this movie.
First, there was a war in England. There was a family with 4 children. The mother sent them to a train. It took them to a professor’s castle. It was a peaceful place. They played hide and seek in the castle. Lucy went to hide in a room. She went into a wardrobe which led her into the woods. It was always winter and never Christmas because the White Witch cased a spell on Narnia. In there, Lucy met Mr. Tumus. He was a faun. Later, Edmund went into the wardrobe with Lucy. Edmund met the White Witch. The Witch gave him Turkish Delight to eat. The witch sent him back into the wardrobe and asked him to bring his brothers and sisters to her. Lucy went back into the wardrobe too.
Next, Edmund played baseball with Lucy, Peter, and Susan. They broke a window. They hid in the wardrobe because the professor had people visiting his castle. They met Mr. Beaver and Mrs. Beaver in the woods. Mr. Beaver told them that Aslan could save Narnia. Aslan was a lion. Later, Edmund left and went to the White Witch. Edmund betrayed Mr. Beaver, Mrs. Beaver, Peter, Lucy and Susan. The White Witch sent wolves to kill them. They escaped. They hid into a cave. At that moment, Santa came and gave Peter a sword and shield. Santa gave Susan a bow and arrows. Santa gave Lucy magic juice that could heal people by using one drop of the juice. Finally, the children found Aslan.
The White Witch wanted to kill Edmund but Aslan died for him by compromising with the White Witch. Then, the stone table cracked and Aslan had risen again. At the same time, Peter and Edmund fought the battle against the White Witch’s army. Edmund was seriously hurt. Peter fought the White Witch. He fought and fought. He almost lost. At that very moment, Aslan jumped into the air and knocked the White Witch dead. Lucy used magic juice to heal Edmund. But the White Witch’s elf was not dead yet. He wanted to kill Edmund. Before he killed Edmund, Susan shot her arrow right at the elf. The elf was dead. Now the children were safe. Peter, Edmund, Susan, and Lucy became kings and queens of Narnia. They grew up and played in the woods. They pushed and pushed themselves back into the wardrobe. They fell down on the floor of Professor’s castle. The professor wanted to know the story. That was the end of the story.
I liked this movie because it is full of imagination and magic. The animals in the story can talk. The magic juice can heal people when they are hurt. I felt happy and excited when I watched this movie.

Very Good Þiano Đay
Today, I went to piano lesson. When Mr. Au looked through the theory, he said I got good because on the first line I didn’t do anything wrong. The next few, I didn’t do well. On B flat Major Staccato Scales, he said I was good again. Mr. Au didn’t admire me for book of Study, Menuetto I in C major, Rag Time but he admired me for the Canon song. He told me that this was the most satisfactory song in book of Repetoire that I was good in. He admired me again. On the next song, Study, he said that I passed. He admired me. The next song I passed was "Bill Grogan's Goat" song. He admired me again. This time I did well in Four Star. For the past few weeks, he said I played badly. But this time I played well. When I did the clap back, he admired me. One of my notes play back was wrong. He admired me again. On the second one, I almost did it right. At the end, he admired me 7 times in total. I felt very pleased and excited because I beat the last record of 2 times more.
Story Retell----A Very Krusty Christmas
Today, it was the first day of March break. I need not to go to school, so I didn’t have anything special to write about. Therefore, my mom asked me to write a story retell. This is what I wrote:
Christmas was coming up and SpongeBob was so excited that he couldn’t sleep. So, he got up to put more decorations on his house. He put the last three-thousand, one hundred, and forty third light on his house. He turned on the switch. Sqidward awoke. SpongeBob told Squidward that his Christmas wish was to have snow on Christmas day. Sqidward told his wish that to have the day off.
The next morning, SpongeBob wanted to decorate the Krusty Krab. Mr. Krabs told SpongeBob that decorating cost too much money. Someone in the Krusty Krab told them to see the Chum Bucket because there were lots of decorations on the Chum Bucket. Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob rushed outside to see the Chum Bucket. Plankton told Mr. Krabs that Christmas wasn’t about food. It was all about decorating. He told Mr. Krabs that if he didn’t decorate he wouldn’t make any money. He asked SpongeBob to go back to the Krusty Krab to decorate. He grabbed Patrick to decorate with him. Sqidward told SpongeBob that he was putting way too many decorations on the Krusty Krab. SpongeBob sprinkled glow in the dark decorations on the Krabby Patty.
Next, Patrick helped with the Reindeer ride. Patrick told SpongeBob that helping the Reindeer ride was hard. It would be much easier when the snow comes. SpongeBob told Patrick his Christmas wish was to have snow. Patrick told SpongeBob that his wish was to have a hat made out of chocolate. SpongeBob went back inside the Krusty Krab. Mr. Krabs asked SpongeBob that if he was done. He wasn’t done. He still had to build the Christmas Fantasy Land, the Chestnut Roasting Centre, and the build-Your own Gingerkelp House Corner.
The next day, almost everyone in the Bikini Bottom was in the Krusty Krab! At Christmas Eve, they were decorating the Krusty Krab. Plankton was trying to steal Mr. Krabs’s secret recipe of the Krabby Patty. Later, Mr. Krab knew that Plankton was trying to steal Mr. Krabs’s recipe. Then, jingling bells filled the air. Everyone came outside. It was Santa. Santa blew some snow into the air. Everywhere was snow. Santa also gave Patrick a hat made out of chocolate. It snowed so much at night that the Krusty Krab was closed.
I think this is a good book because SpongeBob is weird and funny.
Norey’s ßįŔŦĤĐÄŶ ÞĂŔŦŶ
Yesterday morning, there should be soccer games but we didn’t go there because it was March Break. So, we don’t have soccer to play. So, I read books in the morning after I brushed my teeth. In the afternoon, I did my homework and practised my piano. After, we went to Noah’s Fellowship. When we got out, Auntie Florence invited us to her house to have dinner. She didn’t tell us that it was Norey’s birthday. When we got inside, to our surprise, we saw all the banners said Happy Birthday. Then, we knew it was Norey’s birthday. There were sushi, vegetables, corn, meat, fruit, mango pudding and noodles. I had 3 pieces of sushi, meat, and some noodles. After I finished, I went upstairs to play. We watched a movie called “Planet 51”. When I went home, it was 10:30. But tonight, we had to adjust our clock 1 hour forward. So, when I went to bed, it was already 12:00.
Today, we went to ETC at 9:00 a.m. After, we went to small group. We played a game according to today’s lesson. It was called American Football. We versed the girls. The boys won at the end. The boys got 3 touchdowns and the girls got 2 touchdowns. Then, we had Transitional Time. I played fake soccer in the Transitional time. Next, we went to the even smaller group in the other ETC room. At the end, I asked Johnny, our teacher, where to buy the metal trap. So, we finally got the metal trap in Dollarama. We bought it and went home. It was already 1:30 p.m. I felt excited because I could play the metal trap. It was a little bit challenging.

A Great Movie Star-------Jackie Chan
Today I watched a police story Part II. The police star was Jackie Chan. We could watch it very late at night because tomorrow was a holiday. Jackie Chan first fought the bad guys in the park. The bad guys had knives. One of the bad guys dropped his knives and Jackie Chan grabbed the knife and fought the bad guys. After, he fought away the bad guys, he saved a woman from getting beaten up by the bad guys.
Jackie Chan and his girl friend went to a department store. Suddenly, a police told Jackie Chan there was a bomb in the store. Immediately, Jackie Chan rang the fire alarm. The people ran away from the store. At that moment, the bomb exploded. The bad guys put the bomb in the store to ask for money. Jackie Chan disguised as a bad guy. He put a fake mustache on his mouth. He looked very funny. The real bad guy thought he was a bad guy too. Finally, he was caught by the bad guys. They locked him up in a chain. They put bombs on his clothes. They sent him to get money. When Jackie Chan got the money, he went into a tunnel to remove the bombs and went back to the bad guys to save his girl friend. Jackie Chan attacked the bad guys. He threw two bad guys from the top level to the bottom level. They got hurt. So, Jackie Chan began to fight the third bad guy but it was too hard because the bad guy was very good at Kung Fu. He decided to throw bombs at the bad guy. He said “Aba Aba Aba Aba Aba Aba” lots of times because he was dumb. Jackie Chan got out of the building because he knew that the building would explode. Suddenly, the building exploded and got on huge fire. Eventually, all the bad guys died. I felt pleased because Jackie Chan won all the battles.

Story Retell-------The mean team from mars
Today I didn’t have anything special to write about, so my mom told me to write a story retell. This is what I wrote:
Rory was one of Arden United’s players. On Tuesday, the Arden players were training for the match against the team, Springfield. Rory went in the tackle and Mr. Mint blew his whistle. Mr. Mint told Rory that the tackle was very nasty. Rory spent the rest of the match on the sideline. The next two weeks, he got into trouble again. The following week, he kicked the players. Mr. Mint gave out a red card to Rory. He told Rory he was the best players on the team. If he doesn’t behave on the field on Saturday, he would be off the team for good.
On Saturday, Rory’s mom went to the farmer’s market with Rory. Rory had saved $20, so he looked for something to buy. He saw a Arden United quilt. He asked for the price of the quilt was. He said it was $20. So he bought it. Rory was feeling pleased until he met his mom. His mom said to take it back because he had lots of Arden United things already. So they went to put the quilt but the stall wasn’t there. It had vanished. So they went home.
He put the quilt on the bed and jumped on the field. Suddenly, he landed hard on the grass. He found he jumped 100 years into the future. Then, he saw a green boy of his age called Skrekie. The boy had four arms and legs. He helped the boy’s team to fight against the Mars North School team. Their team members came all over the galaxy. It was a hard match. Finally, Arden United Earthlings won 5-1. They felt excited. They gave a big leap of joy. The jump brought them back. Just now, Rory got hurt from the game. He couldn’t play the match against Springfield. So, Skrekie needed a disguise to replace Rory. Rory put some face powder to make Skrekie’s face less green. Skrekie put two arms under his shirt and hide two legs into his pants. Arden United won this match too. But none discover Skrekie disguise as Rory. Rory’s mom washed Rory’s quilt. It came out colorless. Rory couldn’t go back the future again.

The Mad Scientist in Stonebridge
Today is a special day because a mad scientist was in the school. The mad scientist taught us about a famous scientist named Sir Isaac Newton. First she taught us about forces for example: inertia, pushes, pulls, contact, non-contact and the north and south poles of a magnet. The mad scientist gave us a bottle of iron hair and sand. When we used a magnet and put it on the side of the container and moved it up, the iron hair followed the magnet by how it is moving. I wanted to tell you the next part was weird. First she set up a car and put a soldier on the back of the car. Then, she set up a brick [she pretended the brick was a wall] and she pulled the car forward and backwards until it was fast enough and the car hit the brick. The soldier flew forwards. She wanted to show the force of inertia. It was so funny.
Then, the mad scientist told us that the class had to do an experiment. The mad scientist split us into groups of fours. She gave every group a race car, sand paper, wax paper and a white board. The mad scientist said we put a brick under the sand paper. We put the wax paper on top of the sand paper. We put the toy car on top of the ramp and on top of the wax paper and let go. We recorded the answers using tape. She wanted to show us which surface has the most friction and least friction. The result was the sand paper has the most friction.
Next, she taught us to do another experiment. The first step was to make a ball of clay. The mad scientist gave each of us two beads, a thick straw, a thin straw, tape, and a piece of foam. She told us to put the thick straw in the clay. I folded the thin straw in half and put the beads almost halfway in the straw. We taped the thin straw with bead to the piece of foam. Then, we scrubbed the foam on the carpet to make electricity. We put the thin straw in the thick straw. Then, we moved our finger around the foam. It moved and followed our finger. The electricity made the foam move. The mad scientist gave each of us a word search. We worked until recess. When we came back in, we made a fake rattlesnake to scare mom. At lunch Aeon and I took our rattlesnakes outside. Aeon scared 7 people with the rattlesnake. I scared 11 people with my rattlesnake. I had a great science day. I felt excited.

Piano lesson
Today I went to piano lesson. First I had to review the triads of scales. In scales, Mr. Au, my piano teacher admired me once. He said it was not bad. There was only one note inaccurate. He said I couldn’t play any notes wrong next time. After the scales, I played “Menuetto II in C Major. When we were in the middle of the song, there was a fly and it flew everywhere in the room. It made me play the song wrong many many times. After, I played the song wrong on the fifth time. Suddenly, Mr. Au hit the fly dead using his hands. Mom and I laughed. It was very funny. On the other song, "Minuetto II in F Minor", Mr. Au said I played it better than the first song. Mr. Au admired me again. The song that Mr. Au most satisfied was the song "Canon". The total amount of times he admired me was 3 times. I felt pleased.

Story Retell -----Icarus and Daedalus
Today, I don’t have anything to write about. So, my mom told me to write a story retell. This is what I wrote:
Long ago, in Greece, there were a father, named Daedalus, and his son, Icarus. Daedalus was a great engineer and architect. King Minos of Crete asked Daedalus to build a maze to trap a fearful monster that was half-man and half-bull. Daedalus had done a good job because nobody who entered the maze could ever find a way out of the maze. Then, Daedalus and his son wanted to go home but the king didn’t allow them to go home. So the king put them in a prison tower. They couldn’t escape.
One day, they saw some birds flying in the sky. They got a good idea. Daedalus laid out some feathers to make wings for flying. They practised and practised flying every day. Daedalus told Icarus not to fly too high because the sun would melt the wings. He also told him not to fly too low because the feathers would get wet and would be too heavy to fly with. Icarus didn’t listen to his father so he flew close to the sun. Suddenly, the feathers began to fall apart and melt. He fell straight into the cold water. There was only Daedalus left. Daedalus was sad.
This story teaches us that we have to listen to our parents because they had learned from their experinces. I liked this story.

Jessie’s soccer tryout day
Today, I woke up early in the morning at 7:15. We went to church to attend worship first and later [ETC] Exploring Truth Community. I learned not only to take care of myself, but also to take care of the others. That means I should not be self-centered but I should be others-centered. The worship was very funny. I played games in Transitional period. The things in ETC were the same in worship time. I liked it. We ended at 12:30p.m. Then, we went to McDonalds and had lunch with Alex and Jessie. After lunch, we went to Mount Joy to watch Jessie’s soccer tryout. We went inside to the soccer field to watch Jessie. When the game started a man and a little girl was playing soccer in the side of the field. Then, Mike and I asked the man if we could play soccer. The little girl passed the ball to Mike and me. We played until it was half time. Then, we got onto the field and played soccer. There was one goalie and three attackers. We played until the next half began. This time at the side of the field, Alex was in the chain [that was the net] and I had to shot Alex’s ball in there. We practised and practised until it was at the end of the game. Jessie’s team won 2-1. It was a good game. After, we ran on the field to kick the ball around. At 4:00p.m., there was a practice game on the field so we had to kick the ball in the chain again. It was fun. We played until it was 4:27p.m. Next, Jessie’s mom, Auntie Lily, took us upstairs to watch hockey. When we got there, it was too late. It was clean up time already. So, we left and went to Foody Mart. We bought lots of things. We bought Life Savers. [Those are just freezies not real life savers]. On the way home, I took a life saver and ate it at home. It was a good day. I felt happy.

Tremor Technology v Longo’s Blue
Today, we went to Milliken Mills Soccer Club to play soccer. I was being forward when we were playing first shift. I didn’t have a chance to attack because they were hard to attack. Every time I tried to attack, they got back the ball. I was in vain. Almost halftime, my coach made me be the goalie. I was a great goalie. I saved every shot including the shot when it was near the post. When it was almost at the end of the game, my teammate shot the ball in. There was only 9 minutes left. The final result was Tremor Technology 1-0 Longo’s Blue. I was so pleased that we had won the game. I also felt excited. My mom said my team had great progress in skills. The only enemy that we need to exert more effort to fight against is Rogers Neon Yellow. I hope we can win the final in April. I think we can do it because dad will be there and will watch.

Story Retelling------ St. George and the dragon
Today I don’t have anything special to write about. So my mom asked me to do a story retell. The queen of fairies had George as a baby. The fairies took care of George until he grew up being brave, strong, calm, courteous, quick, and, clever. The fairies told him to take adventures for 6 years. Before he left, the fairies told him his greatest weapon was his brain. George walked and walked until he saw a castle. The people in the castle lived in fear because the kingdom in the castle had a horrible horrible dragon. If the dragon had no animal to eat, it would eat people. George wanted to help them. George and the princess, Sabra, went to the wise old sorcerer for help. The sorcerer said some magic words and an hourglass appeared. They went to the dragon’s lair and waited for the dragon to wake up and kill the dragon. When the dragon woke up, George threw the hourglass at the dragon’s mouth. The dragon blasted fire at George and Sabra but no fire came out because his mouth was frozen by the hourglass. The dragon never came out of the warm water because of fear of becoming an ice statue. George and Sabra saved the kingdom. The king gave George a shield as a reward. I liked the story very much.

Movie Day ------ ǽPolice Story
Today, my mom and I watched a movie called Police story. Few days ago, Jake, my classmate, told me about Jackie Chan, a movie star. So, we went to the library and borrowed this movie. When we watched it, we were so excited. In the movie, some bad guys were destroying the town, Jackie Chan tried to stop them, but couldn’t. Then, a bus driver was driving the bus. Suddenly, the bad guys attacked the bus driver. The bad guys told the bus driver to drive around the hill. Then, Jackie Chan took the short cut and ran after the bus. After he reached the bus, he got on the ledge and used an umbrella to climb up to the second deck of the bus. When the bad guys saw him, they kicked Jackie Chan off the bus. Jackie Chan fell on the ground. The bad guys turned around again. Jackie Chan took the shortcut and stop a car. The bad guys were going to crash into Jackie Chan. Luckily, Jackie Chan put in new bullets in his gun. When the bad guys were just about to crash, they stopped the bus just in time. Then, Jackie Chan fired at the bad guys. All of them ran away. Only one bad guy stayed at the bus. Jackie Chan pointed his gun at the bad guys. The bad guy wanted to run but couldn’t. The bad guy showed him his case of money that the bad guy had stolen.
The second exciting part happened in the department store. Jackie Chan fought the bad guys to save Celina who was the secretary of the bad guy. She knew the crime that the bad guy had done. Celina stole the information from the computer and wanted to give it to Jackie Chan. The bad guys raced to the mall to get Celina. Jackie Chan and Celina ran away. The bad guys found Celina and Jackie Chan. The people tried to get the case. Jackie Chan told Celina to get the case for him. The bad guys had caught Celina. They pushed her down the stairs. Jackie Chan told Celina to get it. But she was hurt. Finally, the bad guys had the case. Now Jackie Chan jumped from elevator to elevator and slid down 3 large wires. When he was on the ground, Jackie Chan and Celina was fighting the bad guys. The funny part was when Jackie Chan yanked a bad guy and threw the bad guy down the elevator. The man yelled “ Ahhhhhhhhh!”. I laughed when I saw the part. Then, Jackie Chan grabed a bad guy and threw him on the glass works. He did it to lots of bad guys. Next, a bad guy drove his motorcycle at Jackie Chan. Jackie Chan was so scared. I can tell from his face. He jumped on the person’s head and the bad guy fell off the motorcycle. Jackie Chan got on the motorcycle and as the bad guy jumped on the motorcycle, Jackie Chan drove in the glass area. The bad guy was badly hurt. He said “Ouch Ouch Ouch Ouch”. Then Jackie Chan threw another bad guy on the glass works. Suddenly, the police came and saw what happened. Jackie Chan punched a bad guy millions of times I think. At last, the bad guy was saying “AH AH AH AH AH”. Even his glasses were gone. He was under a broken table because when he fell down backwards, he smacked himself on the table and he was badly hurt. The police from the upper level came down and said Jackie Chan was a good guy. The police said that Jackie Chan was doing the right thing, Jackie Chan was pleased. Finally, the movie ended. I was so happy that Jackie Chan was the winner of beating the bad guys up.
