Aladdin and his wonderful magical lamp

On Thursday, April 29, 2010, we went back to school after dinner to watch a musical play. This musical was presented by Grade 5 and older students. The main characters were Aladdin and his monkey, Alakazam. Aladdin’s uncle, Jammal, was a bad guy. He wanted Aladdin to go into a cave and take a magic lamp and give it to his uncle. Aladdin didn’t give the lamp to his uncle. His uncle was angry. He gave the lamp to Princess Jasmine. Aladdin’s uncle traded a fake new lamp for the real old lamp with Princess Jasmine. He kidnapped Princess Jasmine and begged her to marry him. But Princess Jasmine would never marry him. Aladdin helped Princess Jasmine. Aladdin gave some poisonous drinks to Princess Jasmine. Then, Princess Jasmine gave the poison drink to Aladdin’s uncle. After he drank the poison drink, he died.

One of the funny parts was when Ali Bubba, the servant of the King and Queen, said “I want to marry Princess Jasmine.” Everyone laughed. But the King and Queen told the servant to SHUT UP!
There was an intermission for 10 minutes. After the intermission, they gave the wedding. There was a lot of jewelry. In between the plays, the Choir sang and there were dances. I heard an Alvin and the chipmunk’s song. I also heard a Michael Jackson song.
This play taught us not to be a bad guy because the bad guy will die. I liked this play because it was funny.

I am the author of the blog. I have scored 140 goals outside my house. I am the best soccer player in Stonebridge. I am very very famous. All the people in Milliken Mills soccer Club knows me.

Manchester United v Tottenham Hosper

Today I watched the second half of Manchester United v Tottenham Hosper. My dad had already turned on the T.V. It was Manchester United 0-0 Tottenham Hosper. It was exciting at the second half. I saw a lot of goals in the second half. If Berbatov scored a goal for Manchester United they would win. Berbatov was so close to score a goal for Manchester United. When someone passed the ball to him and tried to reach it the goalie would catch it. Later, one of Manchester United’s players, Nani, ran down the field towards Tottenham’s goal and tried to shoot. One of the Tottenham’s player pulled Nani down. Sir Alex Fergusson told Ryan Gigs to shoot the penalty. They scored. They celebrated. After, Tottenham had a corner. One of the players headed the ball in! It was now Manchester United 1-1 Tottenham Hosper. Next, there was a substitution for Manchester United. Macheda was on. Evra was off. Macheda passed the ball to Nani and he chipped it in. Nani yelled so loudly that the whole field could hear him. They celebrated! Then, Valencia, one of Manchester United’s players ran down the field towards Tottenham Hosper’s goal. Someone pushed him down. Another penalty! Two penalties in the game! Ryan Gigs shoot. It was a goal. Manchester United had scored on the 81 minute. They celebrated so loudly like the whole world would hear Manchester United’s players and Manchester United’s fans. I was so happy that Manchester United won! It was Manchester United 3-1 Tottenham Hosper! Manchester United was at the top of the table! I also celebrate!

The final game TremT v RogNY

Today, we went to Milliken Mills soccer club to play the final game against Rogers Neon Yellow. I played not too good on the first shift. I had to play tougher enough to beat Rogers Neon Yellow. On the second shift I played well. It was hard to dribble past the players. I only dribbled past two. I did a shot at the goal. It was close. At the third shift I was off. My teammates did well but they didn’t get a goal. At the end, one of the Rogers Neon Yellow teammates pasted the ball and shot. They got the deflection and it was a goal for Rogers Neon Yellow. At the third shift I did lots of good tackles. I made people fall down from the Rogers Neon Yellow team without fouls. At the end I did a handball by accident. At the end of the game, it was Rogers Neon Yellow 1-0 Tremor Technology. We had lost. We went to get our second place trophy. They gave everyone of my teammates two trophies. One was for the league finalists and the other one was for the second place final game. I was happy that I got two trophies. Later, we went to the big soccer nets to get our photos taken with my whole team. I also took one for me and my coach. Later, we went to McDonalds and went home.

Part two of Fire Safety Assembly WARNING: THIS IS FIRE RULES!

If someone is outside in the car and has turned his/her radio really loud, wave something out and shout to them FIRE! CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT! And if you live in an apartment, someone will have a pillow to catch you. You will have to jump down. You can also climb down the moving ladder. It might move so it is dangerous. But in your house the smoke rises. Call your parents and leave immediately. Do not stand on your feet. Crawl down low and fast. Do not look your way. Look at the smoke and where it is going to go. If you look at your way, you might burn your lungs. If you have no lungs you can’t breathe. So, don’t do that. Plan an outside meeting place so you can know were each other are. If you don’t have a meeting place outside and you are in the backyards and your parents are in the front lawn. The parents will go inside the house and look for you. This is the dangerous part. You don’t want your parents to be killed. They might be killed because when they get inside, the gas will get into their lungs and burn their lungs. There are 4 types of fire trucks. One is the water sprayer that sprays water everywhere.

Carbon Dioxide or called deadly killer

If you don’t have a carbon monoxide alarm/detector, you must buy one. If you don’t know and you have carbon monoxide in your house, you might have a chance to be killed. It has gas that you can’t touch, feel, taste, hear, and smell. It is hard to know that carbon monoxide is I your house. It is called a deadly killer. It isn’t like smoke. It mixes equally. It goes in every part in your room. This is very important.

Part one of Fire Safety Assembly WARNING: THIS IS FIRE RULES!

 

Today, a trained fire person came to our school to teach us about fire safety. We went to the library. Only Ms. Cliff, Ms. Foster, and Ms. Ng went to the Assembly. First, he taught us about four different kinds of smoke alarms/detectors. If you recognize what type of smoke alarm/detector, you still can’t know what sound it is going to make. Some people put the battery in the wrong way so that the alarm will stay quiet. When they are bathing, listening to music, or for other reasons they won’t be distracted. The yellow sticker will block you from putting the battery in wrong place. If you push hard it will go in. But it won’t make sound if the house is on fire because it is inserted backwards. The man told us that we must have at least one smoke alarm/detector on each level of your house. You have to at least change your smoke alarm/detector every 8-10 years or else your smoke alarm/detector won’t work. TEST YOUR FIRE ALARM BY PRESSING THE TEST BOTTON OF THE SMOKE ALARM/DETECTOR AT LEAST ONE TIME ONE MONTH. ALSO BY LIGHTNING A CANDLE AND BLOW IT OF NEAR A SMOKE ALARM/DETECTOR AND THE SMOKE WILL GO UP. THE ALARM/DETECTOR WILL RING. TRY THIS ABOUT 7-10 TIMES PER MONTH.


Door feeling warm or cold:

If you are in your bedroom and you hear the fire smoke alarm/detector, feel the bedroom door. Start from feeling with your back of your hand not your palm because it is less sensitive. Feel the door from bottom to top. Once you feel it warm stop. If you continue to touch it, it might burn your hand. If you don’t feel any warm, feel the doorknob. Just touch it quickly. If you don’t your hand will burn. If the doorknob is warm don’t open the door. Breathe through clean air in the open window and call for help. Don’t squeak because the people can’t know what you are saying.

Soccer at school

Today, at morning recess, I played soccer with my classmates. We picked teams. I was goalie. I was a great goalie. I had 11 saves in total. The first time Breneedan did a handball shot and Jake shot the ball in because it was a penalty. Later, Daniel shot the ball and he scored on the corner of the goal. Next, Yameen did a handball. It was a penalty again. This time Jake kicked it softly and I blocked the ball with my knees. Breneedan later scored 3 goals quickly. We won. At the end of the recess it was

Breneedan’s team 3-2 Jake’s team. I was happy. After, we had gym. We went outside to play a fake championship game in the soccer field. It was
Jake’s team 5-0 Danielle’s team. I scored two goals, Jake scored two goals, and Yameen scored a goal. I had a happy day. Totally, I scored one-hundred and thirty seven goals when I started to play soccer.

Tremor Technology v Tutor Doctor***

Today I went to Milliken Mills soccer club to play the last playoff game. I was excited. My coach said I was off on the first shift. On the second shift, I was on. I was the attacker. I played well. I had lots and lots of chances to shoot. All of them were very good. My coach was proud of me and my dad was proud of me, too. The next shift, I was off. I had a great time. At the end of the first half, it was
Tremor Technology 0-0 Tutor Doctor.
At the second half, I was a great attacker. First, I dribbled it up and got past one person. Then, two persons and one more person. I shoot. It was a little just above the net. It was a close shot. Later, I dribbled past one person, then two more persons, then one person and one more person. I shot. It hit the post. Next, my teammate blasted it in. My team was so happy. I continued to dribble past people, then shoot. I was happy. The next shift, I was still on. I was happy. This time, I got to dribble past everyone on the field. Later, Tutor Doctor scored one goal. It was tie 1-1. At the end of the game it was
Tremor Technology 1-1 Tutor Doctor. We still got into the finals. After, we ate at McDonalds and went home. I was pleased because we can go into the finals and Tutor Doctor can't!

I’m at the beach and the test

Today, my teacher told me to write a descriptive paragraph. This is what I wrote. One day, I went to the beach. I was making a sandcastle. There was a lot of people on the beach. There were lots of seagulls on the beach. People were eating pizza and drinking Pepsi. Someone was sleeping under the sun. People were swimming. I dove into the water. I swam until I was tired. I ate a hamburger and drank Nestea. These foods were delicious. Somebody brought me a seashell. I heard the sound of the sea. I felt water rushing smoothly at my feet. I smelled the salty water. I felt the seashell bumpy. Then, I heard people singing peaceful songs.

In the evening, I went to Chinese School. We had a Chinese test. I got 100 over 100. My work was all correct. My work was all correct because my mom helped me to review my work for several days. I worked very hard. My parents were proud of me. I was proud of myself. I was very happy.

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON

When the movie started, there was a war. Vikings were fighting with the dragons. People used weapons to fight the dragons and the dragons blasted fire to fight the people. A youth called Hicup, was Vikings leader's son. He felt sad because people were fighting with the dragons.
One day, he went into the forest. He found a tied dragon. He wanted to kill the dragon. But, he was so kind that he couldn't do it. Later, he made friends with the tied dragon. Hicup called the dragon Toothless. He gave fish to Toothless. He began to train the dragon. Toothless had a bad tail. Dragons are supposed to have two fins on their tail. This dragon had  only one fin. Then, Hicup made a fake fin for Toothless and he fixed it on the other side of the tail. Toothless led Hicup to the dragon nest. There was an enormous dragon fighting Toothless and Hicup. Fortunately, they escaped. However, Hicup’s father knew about the dragon’s nest. They went to fight against the dragons. Suddenly, the huge dragon flew out. They almost lost. At the very moment, Hicup and his friends arrived and saved Hicup’s father. They won. The huge dragon died. Finally, the movie ended. I liked this 3-D movie. It was interesting and exciting.

At Stonebridge*

I finished math so I asked my dad to see if I could go to the park now. My dad told me to change my clothes and to get ready to go to Stonebridge’s park. My dad told me to wear my Fabregas shirt to look like a famous soccer player. At the park, I was the attacker first. Today, I was a so so attacker. I wasn’t that good. I scored not too many goals. Once, I shot the ball and it hit the Crossbar and I chested it in. I was happy that I scored a goal. My dad was a good goalie. He could block a lot of shots. After a while, we switched. Dad was the attacker and I was the goalie. I was a so so goalie today again. I could save a lot of shots but I couldn’t save a few. We had played for 1 hour. My dad and I were tired. We drank some water and headed for home. My dad and I jogged home. At the corner, we met my mom. My mom was done preparing dinner. So we went home. My dad took lots of photos for me wearing a Fabregas shirt and at the bottom a soccer ball. I was happy. I wished I could play longer.

Soccer at the park**

Today, we went to two good ponds in the afternoon. There were a lot of Canadian Geese swimming in the ponds. There were a lot of people too because today was Good Friday. We went to the park of a school. Dad was the attacker and I was the goalie. I was a so so goalie today. Next dad became the goalie and I became an attacker. I was a good attacker. A few minutes later, I joined someone else on the soccer field. We had lots and lots of fun. I had lots of great kicks. The adults told me that I was doing well. I was happy. I was a great attacker. I scored lots of goals and I could dribble past people. We played until it was late. Then we left the soccer field. On the way to our car, we met my classmate Arul and his parents. My parents talked with Arul’s parents. After a while we left. I asked my parents if we could go to Stonebridge and play basketball. My parents told me it was late and we couldn’t play at Stonebridge. Finally, we went home. I was sweating because it was very hot today. It was 25 degree. I took a bath. For dinner I had noodles, eggs, broccoli and shrimp. We watched Lang Lang playing piano while we were eating. I liked Long Long very much because he his good at piano. We had a great day.

Ms. Cliff's Class v Ms. Foster’s Class & After School.

Today in gym, we played soccer against Ms. Foster’s class. The players in my team were Jake, Yameen, Rodney, Arul, Breneedan, Roshan, Denna, and Manashy. My opponent was Sanjit, Arash, Shree, Alex, Rocky, Mark, Steed, Steve and Michelle. We were happy. First, I scored 1-0. Then, 2-0. Next, 3-0. My teammates were so happy that we had leaded. They were proud of me. Then Jake, a very good soccer player scored 4-0. Next, 5-0. The, 6-0. At the end, I tried to shoot but I slipped. I fell down. The ball went high into the air and it missed. Another shot I dribbled it up and I got past people. There was a defender in front of me. I decided to shoot. I missed. My teammates told me that it was a good try. At the end of the game it was Ms. Cliff’s class 6 Ms. Foster’s class 0. I felt happy and was proud of myself. After school, I played with Breneedan, Rodney, Jake, and Yameen. We played soccer. We played offense v defense. After a while, Jake and I played Grub Balls. I wasn’t very good at it. Jake always scored. Next, we played baseball. I was a so so baseball player. We played until my mom told me to leave. I thanked Jake’s mom and left for my house. We had played for 1 hour.
