Dinner in Buffet King

Last night, after we went to fellowship, we went to Buffet King to have our dinner with Auntie Lily’s family and April’s family. Buffet King is located between Yonge Street and Major Mack. This was my first time to go there. It was a very large restaurant. I ate lots of sushi. The sushi tasted bad. It was too hard to eat. The sushi I ate in Wasabi was much softer and delicious. Alex also had a lot of sushi. Auntie Lily didn’t tell us that today was Alex’s birthday. I didn’t prepare gifts for Alex. My mom immediately got small cakes from the buffet for Alex. Then, we sang a happy birthday song to Alex. He was happy. He made a wish and blew the candle. I didn’t know what the wish he made was. Later, I took 5 onion rings. I hated it. I gave 3 for mom. I hated Buffet King. I wouldn’t come back again.

Tremor Technology v Rogers Neon Yellow

Today, we were facing Rogers Neon Yellow. At the first half, we had many chances to score a goal. We couldn’t make it  because their goalie was too good. In the second half, we got a free kick. My teammate kicked the ball. But it was close, it went on top of the net. It was too high. Almost at the end of the game, my teammate passed to the other teammate beside him and he volleyed the ball and it was so close again. The next shift, my coach made me be the goalie. I was a great goalie. I saved lots of shots. Roger Neon Yellow had more chances for scoring than us. At the end of the game, it was 0-0. It was a good game. I was happy that we tied the game. We went to McDonalds later. After we bought the food,  I went to the play station but there was nobody inside, so we went home when we were finished eating.

Making Enormous Snow Balls and Olympic Day in Awana

Today at lunch time a girl sitting beside me spilled hand sanitizer on her lunch. The teacher told the girl to throw the sandwiches away in the garbage. My classmate, Jake, told her to eat her chips. But she didn’t want to. She wanted to eat her chips at lunch recess. When we got outside, we went out to our fort. Jake made a big snowball. He rolled it everywhere. Jake and Aaron put snow on the big snowball. I started to make a miniature snowball. I called on Aeon for help. He helped me put snow on the small snowball. We put snow on the miniature snowball until it was the size of Aaron’s head. Then, we began to roll the miniature snowball. We rolled the snowball until it was almost the size of Jake’s snowball. After, four intruders came and tried to take over my snowball. I tried to defend but failed. At last the intruders got the snowball and crashed it until it was broken. We began to throw snowballs at them. When lunch recess was over, we went inside our classroom. Next, we learned social studies. Four of Ms. Foster’s kids came to our class to learn social studies. When two of Ms. Foster’s kids went to the water fountain and came back, they slammed the door shut hardly and the clock fell on the ground. Luckily, the clock was still working. Some of the pieces fell off the clock. No one was hurt. It was so weird.

Story Retelling ----- The Nightingale

Today, I had nothing special to write, so my mom told me to write a story retell. This is what I wrote :

Many years ago, there once was an emperor of China who lived in a palace surrounded by gardens. Lots of people loved coming to his palace to admire his rare stuff. The people said that the tour of the palace wouldn’t end. When a fisherman heard this, he began leading the visitors to the forest to see a nightingale. The nightingale had a beautiful singing voice. The visitors began to tell their friends about the nightingale. Everyone had heard about this bird except the emperor. One day the emperor received a letter from the emperor of Japan. The emperor of Japan heard about the nightingale. But the emperor couldn’t find the nightingale until he saw the fisherman. Finally the emperor of Japan heard the most beautiful song of the nightingale. He was surprised and pleased. One day, the Japanese emperor sent a replica of the nightingale to the Chinese emperor. The replica could only sing one song. The people liked the replica, so the real nightingale flew home to the forest. The replica played over and over again until it stopped one morning. The Chinese emperor was sad and sick. When the fisherman heard this, he told the nightingale to go back to the Chinese emperor. When the nightingale sang songs for the emperor, he got well. The best nightingale was his companion.

After we sang songs, we heard bible stories from an uncle. When he was done telling us stories, we went to small group in room D44 to play a game about the story. The game we played was a tie. I was pleased about the game because it was a tie. Then, we went to the library to borrow books and CDs. When church was over, we drove home.
At home, I ate Michelina’s noodles. When I was done eating the first box, I asked for another one. I was very full when I was done two boxes of Michelina’s and a chicken wing with sauce. So, I went to the sofa to take a rest. When my mom was done washing the dishes, she called me over to practise my piano. I practised a new song called "Etude". It was slow and soft. I added pedal too. It became a beautiful song. I had break time when I was done practising my piano. My mom said she was sleepy. But, I told her that this would make her wake up. So, I grabbed her and took her down the basement to play soccer. First, I was goalie. I was a good goalie. Then, she practised being goalie. Next, we practised Volleying. I was also a good Volleyer. Tremor Technology v Tutor Doctor

Today I went to Milliken Mills Soccer Club to play soccer. In the first half I blast the ball but it was bad. I didn’t score a goal in the first half. The next half my teammate passed the ball to me and I shot the ball. It went in. I was so happy. My mom said I was good. We were so exicted. At the end the result was Tremor Technology v Tutor Doctor 1-0. My teammate’s father (Andrew’s father) asked us who scored a goal. I told him that I scored a goal.
Then, we went to McDonalds to eat food. I told mom what I wanted to eat. I went in the play station to play games. I saw a mom with a baby v a boy. The score was 4-0. From now on, the boy couldn’t get any goals in the fake ice hockey hole because the baby was blocking the hole. At the middle of the game, the mother let me v the boy. When we finished the game, we went to the fake soccer field controllers with the fake players. We put paper balls in the hole so we could play. But soon, the ball got in the corner so nobody could get the ball. We made and put lots of paper balls in the soccer field. We played until the boy said that the paper balls could be stuck in the machine . So, the boy asked if he could get a quarter. His mom said no. So he told me to go to my mom to see if she could give me a quarter. But my mom said no, too. So we kept  putting paper balls in there until more and more paper balls stood inside. We played until an old man came in the play station. He tried to put a quarter to the fake ice hockey game machine. But the quarter didn't work. We tried and tried but failed. Then the old man had an idea. He tried to put a Lonnie in the money hole and it worked. We played the game. At the end of the game, the result was me, 24 the boy, 11. I was so happy that I won the ice hockey game and the mini real soccer game. Finally, we went home.

b®IDGe ĐĄy

Today, in science lesson, Ethan and I completed our bridges project. Our teacher, Ms. Cliff, said Ethan and I had to complete our plans for the bridge building. After we were done building, we worked on our plans. I used straws, masking tape, popsicle sticks, and tissue rolls to build my bridge. The  bridge was very stable. I said not to take off anything but Ethan cut the straw on the bridge in half. Then, I used masking tape to fix it back. We had different ideas. I think my suggestions were the best. But I knew I had to learn to be humble and co-operate with each others. We were working on the changing parts. Our eacher asked us to present our bridges project. The second last call up to present was Ethan and I. We said the presentation perfectly. After we had done our presentations, we went home. I felt great because my teacher said I could bring my bridge home on Monday.
