Wii Day

Two days ago in the morning we went to play badminton with Cady and Amy. The place were we went to play badminton used to be a jail cell. I was surprised. I think you might be surprised. Now it is a place where you play badminton. They used to kill people. When, I went in, I was surprised. There were lots of courts. But Amy and Cady told me that a place were they went before had even more courts. We played for two hours. I was happy. I also ate a lot of seaweed. I was very thirsty. I forgot to bring water so they bought us water. They checked my shoe to see if it was black. If it was you had to pay $100 for each scratch. Then, we went to McDonalds. I ate a hamburger, French fries, and some Nestea. Then Amy went to check her eyes.

Cady and I went back to her house. We both practiced our piano. Then, we played Wii. Amy came back to our house and she practiced her piano. We both played Wii until Cady went to take a bath. Later, Amy took a bath too. We played Golf, Baseball, Swordplay, Wakeboarding, Bowling, Table Tennis, and Tennis. In baseball, my pitching is very good. Once, we beat the other team 11-2. Aurelia was good at batting and we won. I made fast balls, splitters, and some curveballs. In bowling I am in the intermediate level. I usually get spares. Once I got a turkey strike in the original game. I also like to play the 100 pin bowling game. It is hard. In the swordplay showdown, the first level is in Bridge at high noon. The people in green shirts are very easy. You just swing your sword a bit and they die. The guy in the purple sword is the hardest. If you beat him, you win the level. If he beats you, you lose. I lost the second level. And I went home in the evening.

Yesterday, in the morning, we went to the airport to send mom to Hong Kong. In the afternoon, we went to Rupert Golf Course. It was so muddy and cold. It was hard to play in this kind of weather because the mud will curse your ball. When, I finished the 11 hole my hands were freezing and my fingers was numb. I couldn’t hold a golf club so my dad told me that he would finish the rest of the holes. He finished it fast and after went back home. My dad had to wash my shoes. I took a hot bath, so did my dad and we drank hot Ovatine. That is the name of a drink. At night, we planned to eat sushi but my shoes were not dried yet. So, he had to order sushi and took it up and I ate it in the kitchen because my shoes were wet. The sushi was very chili but it tasted very good.

Harry Potter Part 1

At school our homework was to make up a book's first chapter.
*******************************************************************************************
                                                      Chapter 1 Harry Potter's Challenge

Harry Potter and his friends were playing in the woods at 7:00 p.m. Suddenly, something jumped from behind the bush. Out came an army of Evil Wizards.  Both teams started attacking. Harry Potter started attacking. Both of the teams was strong. After 15 minutes, Harry Potter had a plan. He took out his magical and unusual caterpillar. How was it unusual? Well, the caterpillar could zap anyone except Harry Potter and his friends. So Harry Potter said "caterpillar go attack them" he began. "Go zap them."
So, the caterpillar began to zap the Evil Wizards. In an hour, the Evil Wizards were dead. But still the castle had to be defeated. Harry Potter's friend's were injured not Harry Potter. So he went to find a cure.

                                                            Chapter 2 The Wise One

Harry Potter went out to find the wise one. The wise one said "Go to the hills and get a bottle of water. Put wood inside the water and add some magic powder and stir it. Do this ten times on your friends. Then, bring them to me". Harry Potter wanted to know more information, so he wanted to ask him a bit more. But the wise one had already vanished.

Harry Potter returned with his friends. The wise one poured the bottle which contained all the ingredients on his friends. They were healed.

The next day, Harry Potter and his friends went near the castle of the evil wizards. The Captain saw them. He gave them a big smash with his fire bomb. The fire bomb was about the size of 100 basketballs. They went flying to the ground and landed on the ground with a thud. But they used all their powers to smash the castle into small pieces. The castle went on fire! The people and Harry Potter tried to run away but one of the evil wizards used his long tongue to trip Harry Potter and his friends. The soldiers picked them up from the group and threw them into their big truck and drove away. They drove to their father's castle and threw them in jail. They left them in a small room. Harry Potter and his friends tried to break through the jail. So, Harry Potter used his magic power to break through the bars of the jail. And he also used his magic power to make the walls of the jail  break. The whole castle exploded! Kkaabboomm! The guards tried to attack Harry Potter but he used his powerful kick to send him flying out of the castle. One of the guards died. The rest tied up Harry Potter's friends with a thin wire. But Harry Potter kicked all of the guards out of his way and he sent a firebomb which he sent it at the guards and they went flying 100 miles away from the castle. They died too. Harry Potter untied the ropes. They were free.

Chapter 3 Harry Potter's victory

The next day, Harry Potter and his friends saw some evil wizards again. So, they blasted Harry Potter and his friends. Nothing happened. Harry Potter and his friends used all their strongest magical power and kaboom the whole city was destroyed! All the crime began to be disappeared. Harry Potter and his friends celebrated the victory of them.

The story isn't finished yet. The story continues on Part 2 Harry Potter.

Intr"""ooo

Today, at school we continued to build our snow fort. No problem at morning recess. No intruders attacked us. But at lunch recess it did. When we were working on our snow fort, some intruders came. They tried to break our fort but we kept on building it. Sometimes, they stole our snow and ice and we took it back. They had been attacking us a lot. So, it would take a long time to finish our fort. I think they had attacked us 50 times before some of our another friends helped to defend our fort. It was a bit easier to defend our fort. So, we called on more people. But they could break our fort 4 or 5 times now. I was happy that we had more defense. Some of the people who were part of the snow fort's owners went to defend and attack the intruders and some of the people continued to build the snow fort. And then, we figured out a trick. If they came near our fort and tried to damage our fort, we would tell them to go away but they would trick us by saying "Just looking". But we didn't fall for the trick. We also got some ice where there was lots snow. But they kept on coming near our snow fort, so we had to defend a lot of times and I had to stay on alert. When lunch recces was over, we were almost finish building the walls of our snow fort.

**************

This evening I played Minesweeper which is a fun computer game. I usually switch to the Costum level which is very easy. I switch it to 10 bombs and it gives lots of hints. This level is very easy. I like this level very much.

So many songs!

This Tuesday, Mr. Au gave me 6 new songs to play! I passed every song except the Sonitina by Clemeti. It was so crazy! I had never had 6 new songs to play in a week!

Pinball (I beat old record new record)

This week I played Pinball. You will be suprised after you read this post! My old record was 4, 813, 250 right? But I beat it. I was so happy. I even told my mom. I got 7, 681, 500 which was more than my old record. I set a record braker. But someday I will beat this score. It is not going to be easy!

The Party Part 2

It was Fion's birthday. She turned 9 years old on Nov 26. She told us not to bring our lunches. Instead, for lunch, Fion's dad brought us every one's meal. He even brought drinks. He bought C-Plus and Coke cola. I choose C-Plus. I ate some noodles and some chicken wings. I also ate the potato and the pineapple. I had seconds. Fion's dad had made a little bit more. So, some of the care takers in our school ate some! We ate merrily. Mr. Sacco our teacher, and Ms. St. Eve ate some of it too! We were so happy. Gretl even sent a thank you note to Fion saying that thank you and your dad to bring, prepare, and cook the meal for the whole class. We had a happy day. Ooppss! I should say that we had 2 happy days. One on Thursday and one on Friday. I ate food yesterday and we played a game in French called Pasez le Caduae! And today we had Fion's great and delicous meal.

The Party on Nov. 25 Part 1

Today, we played a game that is called Pasez le Cadeu which means pass the present. It is a fun game to play. Before today, everyone had to wrap their present that has to be at least 8 layers. Mine's had more than 10. My freind Richard got the first present. It was a pack of silly bands. I got a snow globe and Arul got my present. It was a scrabook. When the game was over, Ms. St. Eve our french teacher told us to put all the wrapping paper in garbage. Then, we ate our food. Richard was really good at performing "Throw the food in the air and the food falls in your mouth game". It sometimes went in but most of the time it missed. We ate merrily. I finished a bag of Onion rings and my popcorn. I ate two key candies. I loved it. After school, I went to cut my hair.

Today, Mr. Sacco said that we would be playing soccer. We were playing at the big white nets. He split us into groups. Brenenadan, Black Nicholas, Rodney, Marco, Daniel, Ashu, Marco, and me was versing Vekash, White Nicholas, Black Cole, White Cole, Preston, Yameen, Arul, Adam, Benjamin. I thought I would die! Benjamin  was not on my team! But Ashu was on my team. I played goalie. A few minutes after the game start, Daniel made a handball. So Vekash took the penalty. And I saved it! A few minutes later, Cole went close to the net and I made a great takle! Later, the ball flew to the corner of the net. I ripped my feet over the ball and saved it again! They had many great chances but I saved most of them. The others were miss or blocked by our defenders. A few minutes later, Ashu scored a goal! We were leading 1-0. I continued saving shots. Once, Benjamin went to shot hard at the right top corner but I still saved it. But Benjamin's team kept trying. Finally, there were few more seconds left in the game. But Benjamin hit the crossbar instead. Mr. Sacco blew the whistle. The game was over! We had won 1-0! We sang the song my friends used to sing when they won a soccer Some of the people told me that I was a great goalie!

Sushi Night

On Saturday, I went to my soccer match inside the Milliken Mills Soccer dome at 2: 00. Today, we recived our soccer uniforms. My uniform is green and I chose number 11 because I like Giggs. After the soccer match, we went to McDonalds. We ordered a pack of fries, Nestea, a hamburger and a double cheese burger for dad. After, I finished my food we went inside the game stations. After my dad told me to go. And we drove home.
At night, we went to a sushi restuarant on Midland and Finch. We ordered U-dong, and some sushi. They gave us salad, congee, and miso soup. I drank water. My mom and dad drank tea. We finished our congee, salad, and our miso soup. It was really delicious. I already have some miso soup at home which is made by mom. Then, we ate our sushi. My dad gave me a bowl of U-dong. I finished it. I ate a lot of sashumi. I ate diffrent kinds of sushi. I like it very much. I was full already when we almost finished all of our sushi. So we packed it and decided to eat the leftovers at home. By the way, we ordered 3 bowls  of green tea ice-cream even though I was full. One for me, one for dad, and one for mom. Then, we left. We passed Pacific Mall but we didn't stop to buy egg balls which I llike it very much. When we got to First Markham Place, we stopped there and we went inside. When we went inside, we saw some friends of our cell group. Did I mention that today we met everyone in our cell group! We bought 2 bags of egg balls and we sat near them. One of them gave me Nestea to drink. I drank half of it. My dad finished the rest. After we finished eating, we said good-bye to them and my dad drove us home. I loved everything. Domino Video

LA lA lA LA LA LA

Today, I made dominoes. My teacher told me to find domino videos on the internet. When I watched it, it inspired me to make some dominoes. I made a lot of domino effects. I first made it, then drew it so, I won't forget, finally I kncok it down. I made a domino effect then I took my camera and I recorded the fall of the domino. It is hard to make so, I drew it in my notebook so I can make another domino effect like the first one. After, I made a quicktorial of our house so that you can see what our house looks like. It has lots of details in it. Washrooms are included, the fridge is included, my mom is included, my dad is included, my computer is included, all the rooms in the house is included, all the furniture is included, and even the dining room, the living room, the greater living room, and my piano is included. I will put it in my blog.

This is a picture of a domino effect under contruction

Let me show you a video of a domino effect. Over 4 million pieces!

Independence day

Now my dad taught me how to wash the dishes. I wash them really well. I put washing liquid in one of the bowls. Then I dip the scrub in the soap and I scrub the dishes so all the dirt goes away. After, I scrub everything, I rinse the dishes. Finally, I dry them off. After, I wash the dishes my dad always slaps me a high five. He tells me that I have done well. Now I know how to wash the dishes. After I wash the dishes, he lets me have some free time for washing all the dishes including knives, spoons, cups, or rubber parts.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now my dad trains me to walk home because I am old enough. I walk home with my friend, Yammen. i can talk with him on the way home because I won't  be bored. Sometimes, after school ends, I play soccer with my friends until the owner of the ball leaves, then Yammen and I will walk home together.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My dad taught me how to make enough time, so I will have enough time to go to school on time. First,  I wake up early than I eat my breakfast. I usally, finish breakfast at 8:30. Then I brush my teeth and put on my clothes. Then, we leave at 8:50 to walk to school. If I do this every morning, I will be at school on time.

Today, we went to Cresthaven Golf Course to play golf in the afternoon. I played well in the beginning.  My shots were good and my putting was good. Sometimes I took the break and the ball went in. I got a lot of boogies and some double boogies. The worst hole took me 7 shots. My dad said I played well. Now I could play the white tee because I was strong enough and I had new clubs. When dad lost the scorecard I played bad and weird. When I tee off, I used my hybrid and I shot it to my right. It was not a lot of distance and my dad had to pick the ball for me. When I shot it, I fell flat on my butt and laughed hard. Before every shot from now on, I laughed and it made me move around and shoot the ball bad. After the last hole, we practiced chipping and putting. After we were finished, we left. I had a good day at Cresthaven Golf Course.

Church

Today, I went to church at 9:00. We sang songs at the beginning to worship god and we had offering time and we had big group after this lesson. We learned about the tower of Babel which God mixed up the people’s languages and they could not go on building. Then, we had small group. I got a prize which was a rubber band that looked like a real gecko. They said everyone should have one every week. At the end, we made prayers and we went to transition time. Some of us watched a movie called Bambi. After the show we went to ETC stands for Exploring Truth Community. First, we sang the ETC song, the bible verses, and the ETC cheers. Then, we watched a movie. After, we had to answer questions. Then they asked us other questions. I got a prize. It was seaweed. Next, it was game time. We had to protect the egg from cracking. A little bit cracking counts and your team is out of the game. All the materials we had to protect the egg was straw, and newspaper. What my group did was to cover the egg with newspaper and add some little straws inside. We made lots of layers to make it thick. And we were right! Our egg didn’t crack. It was actually my idea. I helped my team win. Our protection was a straw pyramid and we put the egg inside the pyramid and we wrapped newspaper around the pyramid. We added layers group. Our group was one of the 3 groups that won! After, ETC we went to a room to play. Then after, I went to the big room to play with the big balls.

Story Retell…The Vanishin’g Monster

There was a boy who was called Davy, who lived in Puddle Lane. He had a sister named Sarah. There was a big old house at the end of the lane. It had a garden. Any body could go in there to play. One day, Davy went into the garden. Davy sat down under an old tree. After a long time, he heard a noise. He looked up and saw 2 long green ears. He was very still and quiet. He saw 2 green eyes. Soon, he saw a long green tail. Davy was a bit afraid. All the parts of the monster joined up and he went out of the bushes! At that moment, he sneezed. In a moment, the monster vanished. Davy waited and he saw 2 green ears. Later, he saw 2 eyes. Next, he saw there was a long green tail. Then, all the parts of the monster joined up together. The monster was back! He looked very nervous. Davy told the monster not to be afraid of him and he wouldn’t hurt him. The monster told Davy in a whilly-griffly voice that he would not be afraid of him and hurt him too. They made friends. The Griffle (monster) stayed and played with Davy. Davy took the griffle back home. He told Sarah about the Griffle but she didn’t see him anywhere. Sarah did not believe it.

But he could not save corner shots because they were too hard for him to save. And sometimes I volleyed them and he could save only few of them. Then, I was goalie. I saved many shots. Triple Triple Triple Rooney said I was a good goalie. He also did some volleys to make it even harder to save most of them were shot very hardly. HHe only scored half of them. Then we practiced heading the ball. Then, we played penalty shoot out. It was me 5-0 Triple Triple Triple Rooney.

CJGA (Children junior golf association)

Written by Scott Chui or Denis or Triple Triple Triple Rooney

Today, we went to Markham Green golf club for the CJGA championship. Dad was my golf caddie. We had to play 18 holes. When we were at the first hole we went to the staircase which leaded to the practice putting green. We practiced until my dad told me to go back. So they called my name and the people clapped their hands. And then when I hit the ball it went all the way to 170 yards. And I finished the hole with a 7. Freddy finished with a 6. Jacob was much worst.

Then we played the 2 hole. I got 2 penalty strokes for lost ball in the river. That hole was very long. Freddy’s score was better than me. And we went to the 3 hole. There was a creek in front of me. And it went in the ruff. I finished the par 3 hole with a 4. Freddy halved the hole with me. (Means that we ended up with same score). The next hole was hard. And there were some more holes that had creeks. Once, I was lucky. My swing was fast and the ball was low. It was about to fall in the river but it hit the rock on the side and bounced to safety. Weeeeew! What a close call. On the 9 hole I hit more than 100 yards and it went on the fairway. Freddy’s was on the rough. And jacob’s was even worse. He hit the ball and it went 0 yards and it flew right into the forest. He had to do the tee-off again because he lost the ball. This time he hit the ball into the rough but at least he didn’t lose more balls. He had already lose more than 10 balls. And I finished the hole pretty good.

In the end he lost more than 15 balls. When we were done we went back home and ate our lunch. It was fun. And I was in 14 place out of 17.

In the morning it was raining so we went to Dick’s Sporting goods and we saw a Junior Golf set and we tried my golf clubs in the golf net. I played my iron well and the driver was bad. (Dad told me that) And we didn’t buy it. Then, we went to a restaurant and ate many sushi and shrimp. I ate many pieces of shrimp. I also dipped the sushi in the soy sauce. I loved the sushi. It was very yummy. I ate until I was full.

Washington DC U.S.A July 28 Part 3

Today, we went to six flags Amusement park. There were a lot of people. I think there were 20 thousand people there! The lines were very long and there were a lot of people in different stations. First, mom and I went on the flying chair. We went Wuop-pei-ddo-oooo on the flying chair. It was amazing it would send you flying in your chair crazy!!!!!!! Later, we got off and dad rode on the flying chair with me. We went crazy. My mom and dad took videos of us on the flying chair.

We told mom to wait for us in the food court. I played with dad on the Big Splash Boat 2 times later. When the cart went up, water went back down to the other side. Then, when we went down, water splashed everywhere. We were wet from head to toe. We went on this ride 2 times! We rode 2 times because it was fun. Then, we went back to the food court to find mom. We ate seaweed while mom ordered a basket full of French fries. When we were done lunch, we changed our swimming suits then went to the kids’ water park.

It was fun. We stayed there for a long time. I went on the water slide many times and had many big splashes. I played until dad told me to go to Hurricane Bay witch was better and more fun. Sometimes it had waves and I had to jump over the waves because I was too short. Then, someone drowned and the life guard dived into the water to save him. He saved him. We played a few more minutes. Next, we went to another kid’s water park. It was better than the first water park because it had a lot of water slides. I rode on them many times. I think in the end I went on 30 times any kind of water slides. And I usually lied down because it made you go faster and it made me think that it was more fun. Then, we left it because they blew the whistle many times and they closed the water park. Next, we went on the float 2 times with my dad. Later, he bumped into something and lost his sunglasses. Then, we went back in the kid’s water park the 2 time and it was fun. When we got out, it was already 4:00. Then, now my dad noticed he lost his sunglasses. Too bad, we didn’t find his sunglasses. We had a fun time at six flags amusement park. Then, we went to Bob Evans and we ordered 2 Spaghetti with meat sauce regulars. It was delicious. I had Ice tea also. When we got back to the hotel we took a bath and we watched Manchester united v all stars. It was 5-2. And Manchester united won!

Washington DC U.S.A July 27 Part 2

Today we put mom to the mall and we drove to Magic Putting place. It was mini golf. And this mini golf was very easy to finish a hole. So when we were done, we went to a par 3 golf course. We didn’t see a golf course. Instead we saw a sign and no golf course. On the way out we asked a man. He told us that it was out of bisness. So we found another golf course. They told us it was a normal golf course. And they told us that Broad Run golf course was a par 3 golf course. When we got there they told us that it was a normal golf course again. But they said there was a mini golf. So we played it.

After a while dad lost the score card. So he got another score card and a pencil. Then we played on. Then, dad told me that we would play another round. When we were finished we went back to the mall to pick up mom. Before we left the mall, we went shopping. We bought trainers for indoor and outdoor shoes. Dad bought 2-T shirts and we went back to the hotel and went swimming. Finally, we had late dinner at a sushi restaurant. We arrived there at 9:15. When we were finished dinner, we arrived at the hotel at 10:10. It was a quiet dinner after all.

Washington DC U.S.A July 26 part 1

Today we went to Vienna Metro Station. And we bought a one day pass. When we got out side we saw the monument. We took pictures. And we pretended to push down the monument. The monument looked like it was 20 million meters tall! Maybe not 20 million meters tall but it was tall enough to be called tall.

Then, we went to the other side of the road. And when we were crossing the road I looked at the buildings. They were so tall that they looked like they were about to fall over. Okay okay it wasn’t that tall. And we went inside the Museum. Oh I forgot to tell you the name of the museum. So the museum was called Museum of Natural History. When we got inside there was a model of a big elephant and it looked like a real one. There was some human history and lots of models of animals. And most of them were about 15 meters tall and 15 meters wide. Then, we went to see a 3-D movie about dinosaurs. In one of the pictures one type of animals is fully grown by 20 years old. And these types of dinosaurs have no predictors because they are too tall and strong to be beaten up. The other dinosaurs can only scratch their feet. If one smaller dinosaur sneaks up to the big dinosaurs back, the dinoursaur can use its long strong tail to nock the other dinosaurs away. Their tail is very long and very strong. These types of dinosaurs travel slowly in big groups. And the groups of nests are too wide to be stepen over by the dinosaur’s mothers. After the 3-D movie, we ate lunch and I accidentally spilled my ice tea. Next, we went to the National Air And Space Museum. We saw real spacecrafts and the first probe we saw was Apollo 11. It was very famous probe. The first people to walk on the moon.

The other probes we saw were called Hope and Opportunity. They landed on mars. Another was called Vikings. It was a rover that explored mars. When we left the museum we went to the White House. (And we had an appointment with president Obama. We asked him these questions. 1. How long have you been president? 2. How is your work? 3. How did you get awarded? And we took pictures of him and the white house. ) (just joking)! Later, we had dinner at a Chinese restaurant. The food was not that good. Finally, we went back to the hotel.

Altoona U.S.A July 25 Part 2

Today, we planned to go to the amusement park to play mini golf. When we arrived, it wasn’t open yet. We didn’t want to waste our time. So, we went shopping at Big K Mart to buy my swimming suits. I went straight into the Big K mart to see 4 sport whistles and disguise. Dad went to see his men wear. Mom went to see her woman wear. Later, Dad and mom tried to find me but they couldn’t find me. They were frightened. So, Mom asked the staff to call me in the P.A. system. When I heard it, I rushed to the entrance to meet my mom. Dad and mom were happy to find me. After we bought my swimming suits, we went to the amusement park again. This time we still couldn’t play it because it was raining. I was disappointed. It was about lunchtime and we went to a restaurant called Eat’n Park to have our lunch. It was a family restaurant. After we ordered our food, we heard thunder. The thunder was so loud it made the restaurant shake a bit. Oh and the lightning too. After we were done our lunch, we went to Holiday Bowl to play bowling. At first, I got 2 fouls because my feet were beyond the line. After that I learned not to go over the line because the score didn’t count. So, I tried to catch up and I did. Finally, dad won the game.

After we were done the game, we played race cars witch you had to race with your partner, DX hockey witch you have to try to score in your partner’s net and finally, Pinball witch you had to get the highest score as possible. I beat dad in the car race and won him. And he won the hockey game. He beat me by 7-4. Then, I played Pinball I had a high score.

It was still raining so we couldn’t go to the amusement park to play mini golf. Eventually, we went straight to Washington DC. After driving for 5 hours, we finally arrived at Four Point by Sheraton Hotel. Next, we went swimming. We had fun. Then, we went to Bob Evans restaurant. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, French fries, garlic bread and ice tea. The food was so yummy that I wanted to come again.

Altoona, U.S.A July 24 Part 1

Today, we drove to Buffalo and then we had to stop in the immigration because they had to check our passports and asked us to pay money for going into the U.S.A. We waited for almost 2 hours. Then, they called our name. They checked our passports and they told us to pay at the cashier. So we did. After, we continued the drive to our hotel. The hotel was called Super 8. When we arrived, it was about 10:00 p.m. Restaurants were already closed, so we ate instant cup noodles for dinner. It was yummy. All of us were very tired, especially dad. He had driven all day long.

Manchester United v Celtic United

Today we went to Downtown Rogers Center to watch Manchester United v Celtic United at the Blue Jay’s soccer field. Mom told us she would wait at Harvy's. When we got there we bought a bottle of water and a packet of Skittles. We ate the packet of skittles while we watched the game. Finally, both teams came out with their uniform. At first Manchester United had more possession. Then at about the 34 minute Manchester United scored. Someone passed the ball to Berbatov and then he dribbled past a person the ball into the net. And I was so happy. I shouted to cheer for Manchester United. The score was Manchester United 1-0 Celtic United.
After, they did a few more shots. Then, it was halftime. At the second half Chris Smalling pulled down someone. There was a penalty. It went in. 1-1.
After Berbatov passed the ball to Wellback. And he shot and scored. Now it was 2-1.
Next, Manchester United’s Tom Cleverly shot and it was deflected into the net. It was 3-1The goalie couldn’t save it because the goalie had dived the wrong way. And at each goal I cheered very loudly and hoped that the players would hear my cheer.

When the game was over we cheered and shouted. We took pictures and videos after the game. Then, the man in the yellow shirt asked my dad what team I was cheering for and dad told him that I was cheering for Manchester United. And he told me that my team had done it again. After we went back to the Sky walk that would lead us to the subway. On our way there was Manchester United’s fans and Celtic’s fans. They were shouting against each other. But Celtic had already lost. No use. When we met mom I was hungry. I told dad that I was hungry and I wanted to get the food at McDonalds. But dad didn't want to. So, my mom gave me some french fries she had bought at McDonalds. After, when we got ouside I was hungry again. So, my parents bought a hot dog. I gave some pieces of my hot dog to my dad.

Kitchener

Today we drove to St. Jacob at Farmer’s Market. We ordered chips and fish and a hamburger. We also brought some drinks. I drank 1 can of Nestea and 1 can of Five Alive. My dad drank 2 cans of Nestea. It was yummy. When we finished we went to look around. While we were eating the people were giving money to the charity near the eating area. The team was called Purple team. Each time the people gives money to the charity they ride their bikes. And the people’s cheers were so loud we could hear it from the eating area. There was a pony ride. I saw 4 ponies and the small children rode on it. Just after a few minutes that they had got on their ponies a pony pooed on the ground. The staff joked “Did you squeeze your Pony too hard?” I laughed. Suddenly, I saw a soccer stand. It was full of soccer stuff. I wanted to buy a Manchester United shirt but dad siad he could buy it at Hong Kong.
Next, we drove to Outlet Mall.
I went to Lego Land and played with Mega blocks. (small Lego) I built a radio dish truck. It made it so it would go very slow. It was hard to make but not too complicated. In the afternoon we drove to Kitchener to Tim Horton’s for lunch.
Then, we wanted to play at a golf course. So dad found a golf course. He also booked a buggy to ride on since we had to walk a long long way. We played the first nine holes. They were hard. So it took about 2 hours. But it was fun. After, we had finished we called mom and drove to All you can eat. On the way I finished the fish and chips we ordered at the Farmer’s Market. We ate and ate and ate until we were full. Then we drove back home. We had a wonderful time at St. Jacob and Kitchener.

London

Today we drove to London for 3 hours. During the long car ride I put on Mozart’s music. When we reached there we went to a Family restaurant called West Side. I drank chocolate milk, and water. I ate French fries and chicken fingers. After we finished eating we went to East Park. It had lots of things you could do. You could play on the water slide, go carts, mini golf, and real golf. First we played mini golf. It was fun. Harry’s goofy golf was easier than Golf zone. But at the last hole of Golf zone I got a birdie. When we finished playing mini golf we played real golf. The lady at the counter said we have to start at hole number 10. The holes were hard. One was over 4 hundred yards. But I finished the hole in 7 strokes. When we finished playing we went to Tim Hortans for dinner. I ate 1 bowl of chicken soup with noodles, a bun with butter, and half a crusaun. After, we drove back home because it was getting late. We had a wonderful time.

I’m the man of the match¡¡

Today, I went to Village Park Field 1 to play the match. We were versing the dark blue team. In the first half, I shot the ball in the right corner of the net from the penalty box. What a goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My teammates hugged me tightly. It was 1-0. Later, Benjamin shot. It was over the net. Next, I shot the ball on someone’s arm. That was handball. A penalty was given for us. Benjamin decided that he would take the penalty. He shot the penalty and went into the net!!!! Whooo…... 2-0. In the end of the first half, we won 2-0. In the second half, one of their teammates passed it to the other teammate and he shot it at the post and in. It was 2-1. A few minutes later, I did a lot of tackles and they were all well-timed tackles. No fouls. Later, I went close to the net. I shot the ball in the right hand corner from the six yard box and it went in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a second goal! My teammates hugged me again!!!!!!! We were wining 3-1. I was overjoyed. Then, the other team’s same teammate who had scored a goal ran past all of us except me and the goalie. I didn’t want him to shoot so I tackled him. What a great tackle. In the final few minutes, I got the ball again and the other team got it and I fell down. But my teammate John got the ball and kicked it low. It hit my face. Marcus, my teammate, got the ball and shot it above my face. It went in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a goal. It was 4-1 now. Then, the referee blew the whistle for the end of the game. We had won 4-1. I scored 2 goals and Benjamin scored 1 goal and Marcus scored 1 goal too! We were very happy.

Crazy ĢolfBaBu Day

Today we went to a golf driving range. I played with my 7 iron, 5/6 iron, and my driver. We were playing and had so much fun until it started to rain. My dad and I played well. We got wet. But we decided we should finish our balls. We looked like professionals because we played in the rain until we finished our balls. After, we scrapped our shoes and we inside our car. Our shirt and our hair was very wet.

We went to Babu near Sobeys to buy fry rice and mixed vegetables for dinner. When we got home I played on my bicycle until my dad told me to come in. Later we had a warm bath. We went downstairs for dinner. We had a great feast. But we were wet. I had fry rice, mixed vegetables and a bit of sushi. They were very yummy. I wish I could have a jumbo box of fry rice.

We Won! We Won! We Won! We Won! We Won! We Won!

Today we went to Ashton Medal Field 1to play the soccer game at 6: 30. We were facing the purple team. We were guest team. At first they shot the ball and the goalie couldn’t save it. It was 1-0. A few minutes later we got a penalty because their teammate passed the ball to the goalie and picked it up. I shot and missed the very good chance. Later, I dribbled a lot and I shot from far away. The goalie dived to save it. He saved the ball on the post and bounced out. What a close chance!

At the end of the first half we were losing 1-0. At the second half we played much much better. Benjamin was my teammate and he was a super star. He could dribble past every single person and score. He dribbled past every single person and he scored a goal. It was 1-1. Then, the purple team got the ball and tried to dribble but failed and Benjamin got it. He dribbled past every single person and scored! Now he had scored two goals! My team was winning 1-2. After, he got the ball again and dribbled past everyone and scored! He had scored a Hat Trick. We were winning 1-3. The purple team got the ball again and tried to dribble past us but failed again! So Benjamin dribbled past everyone again and scored again! He had scored four goals! He had strike four! Next, Marcus dribbled past a few persons and scored. We were winning 1-4. When they got the ball a few minutes ago John scored. It was 1-5. I slid on the ground and wiggled my butt. I was dancing.
They got the ball and dribbled until there were only two defenders. I tackled him by kicking the ball to the side. If I didn’t tackle him, it would be a goal. When I got the ball I passed it to John and he kicked and the defender blocked it and the ball went high into the air and I kicked it. The goalie was little afraid but saved it. But when I got the ball the purple pulled my shirt and I pulled his pants. Free kick for my team. I shot and it was close. When they got the ball and they stepped on my foot and it was painful. They continued dribbling and they scored. It was 2-5. They got the ball and shot it high and the goalie blocked it. Close chance. Later, they got the ball again they scored and again and again. It was 4-5. We were still wining. Later, Peter got the ball and shot it. It deflected the ball of the player and into the net. It was 4-6. Later, the goalie went out and Tiger shot it not hard into the corner of the net. What a goal! It was 4-7. Then, my teammate scored the final goal of the game. It was 4-8. We were ecstatic. We shouted and screamed because we were ecstatic. Every kid in the yellow team got praised by their parents. WE HAD WON 4-8!

Today in the afternoon, the McCowan fire station

Today in the afternoon, the McCowan fire station came to our school. They showed us how the fire hoses worked. They could spray very far. I think they could spray a mile. We voted for 1 of the fireman to see which hose could spray higher of farther. The headman gave them names. The X man lost and the other one won. Then, they showed us the fire truck.

We stepped inside the fire truck and looked at all the equipment they had. They had a lot of equipment. The fireman only told us what the breathing masks and safety goggles were for. They had breath masks in case they had to breathe in smoke. The breathing masks protected them from breathing in smoke.
The safety goggles were for in case they had a truck accident. They could get the safety goggles without coming out of the truck. The fire truck was very big. They gave us frezeis to eat. I chose cream soda. I liked the flavor cream soda. It was yummy too. After that we had music class.

Milliken Mills Soccer & the meeting

Today, we attend Milliken Mills soccer game. We went to soccer field 2 at Village Parkway to my first soccer game in this summer. The referee told us that my team was the home team. Then, Benjamin my schoolmate, shot and a defender blocked it. I got the rebound and I shot and scored in the corner of the net. Hooray! Hurray! I scored in 10 minutes. Next, Benjamin shot and the goalie saved it. No goal for my team. We were winning 1-0. I think the other team was not tough. They were not even a little bit. After 30 minutes, it was substitution and I left because my mom had an important meeting at my mom’s friend’s house. It was dinner time when we arrived. I ate noodles with Chinese sauce and shrimp. I ate some meat too. After dinner, we went outside to play Team tag and Toilet Flush tag. When we finished playing outside, we went to the computer to play games. We first played Paxcon and then we played Webkinz. (Are you wondering what is Paxcon and Webkinz it is games?) We also went on the youtube to listen to songs. We listen to the songs Waving Flag, Blah Blah, Blah, some other songs. After, we ate fruit. I liked to eat pineapples. At the end, we played Paxcon again. And at about 10:15p.m., we left. I felt pleased because we had great fun.

What happened after dinner

After dinner, I rode my bike to Aeon’s house. Yameen didn’t meet at Aeon’s house. So, only Aeon, Tommy, Nicky, Stanley and I were at Aeon’s house. We came to play Wii. We played War first. Then, we played Mario Cart. In Mario Cart, I picked Youshi. We picked the red team and we were facing the Blue Team. Youshi was in last place 3 times and he was in first place twice. And DV Kong was in first place 4 times and DV Kong was in last place once. And after the game, they presented us a trophy. We won against the Blue Team! We played Wii until 8: 30. We finally went out to play with our bikes. Aeon gave me 2 “fruit by the foot” rolls. They were delicious candies. And I ate them while I biked home. I felt pleased because this was my first time to go to Aeon’s house.

Yameen comes to my house

After school, my mom took me to the barber shop. When we finished my hair cut, we went home. When I arrived home, I met Yameen, my classmate, on the street. I invited him to come into my house. I showed him all the rooms in my house. We played in the basement first. We played with the Toronto FC soccer ball. Then, we played floor hockey. It was fun. After, we played basketball. Next, we went upstairs. I showed him my computer. I showed him my mom and dad’s computer. I let him go into my room. I led him to my toy room. We played in the toy room. We played my cars. We enjoyed everything in the room. Soon, Yameen left at 5 o’clock. We said goodbye to him. After, Aeon rang my doorbell. He asked me to go to Nicky’s house. But, I had to finish my homework first. I told him to meet at Tommy’s house. Tommy was Aeon’s friend. We had fun.

Rikki-Tikki-Tavi----Story Retell

Today, I didn’t have any special thing to write about, so my mom told me to write a story retell. This is what I wrote:
A young English boy named Teddy went outside to explore. He found a small mongoose in the road. The mongoose called Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, had thick hair and a bushy tail that made him look like a cat. Teddy brought the mongoose home. Teddy’s dad told Teddy to dry the mongoose off. At bedtime he climbed into Teddy’s bed. The next morning, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi went to the garden outside the house. He heard a sad song and he saw the songbird, Darzee. One of her eggs had fallen out of her nest and a snake had eaten it. The snakes Nag and Nagaina were evil snake cobras. A big snake came towards Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. He was scared. The snake told him that his family had ruled the garden for thousands of years. Nagina, Nag’s wife tried to bite the mongoose but missed.
In the night, the mongoose heard a sound. The evil snakes were in the house! So, he went to his parent’s bathroom. There was Nag and Nagina! Nag whispered a plan to his wife, Nagina. The plan was to scare the people and to force the mongoose to go away. The mongoose heard the plan. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi’s eyes became red. Suddenly, he heard a crack. Teddy’s dad had hit Nag in the head with a stick. Nag died.
Then, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi went to the garden with a plan. The mongoose told the songbird, Darzee, the plan. Darzee went to distract Nagina while the mongoose went to find Nagina’s eggs. The bird fluttered down the path and Nagina followed closely. When Rikki-Tikki-Tavi carried of the last egg, Darzee flew close to him and told him that Nagina had trapped Teddy and his parents on the porch of the house. So, he went to the porch. They sat down to eat but none of them moved. The mongoose distracted Nagina and told Nagina that he had all the eggs. But he would give the last egg he had carried away from the garden. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi started a wicked fight on the porch with Nagina. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi forgot the egg. Nagina went to get the egg and raced off into the garden. The mongoose followed Nagina. The mongoose followed Nagina into the hole and the fight started again. Suddenly, the grass stopped waving and the animals thought the mongoose had lost. However, Nagina had taken the egg and never came back to the garden. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi had saved the family.
I like this story because I learned courage from the mongoose. He was so brave. I hope I have courage like the mongoose.

Ms. Cliff’s class v Ms. Muller’s class 40 players

On Friday, Ms. Muller told us to go outside and play with her class. So, we did go outside. We played class against class in soccer. We played well. Jake first shot it and the defender blocked it. The ball was high in the air so I did a side volley with my left foot. It went in! What a beautiful goal! It was between the two posts and just below the crossbar and higher than the goalie. It was Ms. Cliff’s class 1-0 Ms. Muller’s class. I gave Jake a high five. Later, Jake shot the ball and missed. Yameen shot and missed. Arul shot the ball and wasted it. Next, Jake dribbled past a person and shot. It was so close but not a goal.

After, I dribbled past a defender, then the other two, then one more, and then one more. I chipped it into the net. It was between two posts and just below the crossbar and above the goalie, same as before. What a wonderful chip! It was Ms. Cliff’s class 2-0 Ms. Muller’s class. My teammates gave me a big hug. They cheered for my team, too. Next, Ms. Muller’s class had two close chances but my team’s goalie saved both of them. A few minutes later, they shot and it went high into the air. They missed. And the game ended after a few minutes. I was overjoyed. We had defeated the strong team with 3 soccer heroes.
We had won 2-0. I hope we will win whatever team we face in furture.

EQAO Week

This week, we have EQAO tests in all the grade 3 and 6 classes. These tests are held by The Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO). It aims to test students’ skills in reading, writing and mathematics at key points in their elementary-school education. Students are tested twice. First, it is at the end of Grade 3, to assess what they’ve learned throughout the Primary Division

(Grades 1-3). Second, it is at the end of Grade 6, to assess what they’ve learned throughout the Junior Division (Grades 4-6).
Our tests start on Tuesday and end on Friday. On Tuesday, we did Reading and Writing Part A section. On Wednesday, we did Reading and Writing Part B section. On Thursday, we did Reading and Writing Part C section. We also did Mathematics Part A section. Each section was long. Each section took me about 30 minutes.
After each section of EQAO, we usually will have about 40 minutes of free time outside or free time inside because of EQAO. Today, Ms. Cliff gave us lots of free time inside. Yameen, Rodney, Ethan and, I played with the pattern blocks. We used some blocks to build a small tower. We pretended there was a war outside of our village. Then, we had villagers, and soldiers with weapons, some soldiers with no weapons to fight against the bad guys. The air tanks sucked up the bad guys and put them in jail while the good soldiers fought with the weapons. After, all the bad guys were in jail. Ms. Cliff told us to clean up and we tidied up.

Giving Project--------Marigold

Few weeks ago, my Sunday school called BGSG gave us a “Giving Project”. This project was for grade 1-3. The teacher gave us six seeds, some soil, and a plastic pot. When I went home, I put seeds into the soil. Everyday, I had to water it. After seven days, I saw two small pieces of leaves coming out from the soil. Three days later, all six seeds germinated. They were very small. I was supposed to water the plants every day. However, I was so busy that I forgot to water the plants sometimes. I put it in the basement. It had not enough sunlight. As a result, the plants grew slowly.
After two weeks, I need to take it back to church and sell it for money. The teacher would collect the money and give to a charity organization called “Urban Promise”. Then, the charity would use the money to serve the poor. I didn’t sell my plants to the people because I want to reserve it for myself. I want to watch my plant growing. So, my mom gave $5 to buy it back. I thank mom.
Now, I put the pot outside on the deck in order to get more sunlight and water. I saw the plant get a little bigger and stronger. I hope it grows up to have flowers soon.
I think this project is meaningful because we can help the poor and meet their needs. I learn how to grow plants. The plants need water and sunlight. Now, I get more experience. Our Sunday school teacher taught us to love each others through this project.

Black Creek Pioneer ψiĿĿaģe Part 2

After Lunch, we went on again. We visited the Blacksmith. They told us all about making black metals. You would stay there at the Blacksmith 3-7 years learning how to be a blacksmith. We went to the post office. If you give mail to the man and the man will give your letter a stamp. We also visited the Doctor’s house. Some parts of the house doesn't belong to the doctor. But one room was the wating room. The other one was the room where the doctor works. The Doctor’s medicines were on the cupboard. Then, we visited the school, and the church. The teacher wrote something on the chalk board and they had to memorize everything the teacher taught because there was no paper to be used. They had only small slates. We went into a shop. The man told us that the horse shoes were $10. We didn’t buy any horse shoes as we don't need it. At last, we went to see the mill. The mill was a dangerous place to work. Some people got there hands broken or legs were broken because of big sharp gear of the mill. The gear had different sizes. The largest one that I saw was 6 feet long in diamiter. They had to turn off the mill before they clean the gear. Later, we went to the mini zoo. We saw fat chickens, birds, goats, sheeps, and 3 job cows.

WARNING!

DON’T PUT ANYTHING NEAR THE JOB COWS! THEY MIGHT BITE! DON’T FEED THE JOB COWS!

So, we didn’t put anything near the cows and didn’t feed them. Later, when we saw the three fat white ducks, a woman dumped mud water all over the grass to empty the pool of water. That was so gross. We went to the parlor shop which sold shoes. We went to the printing office. I saw all the words were in mirror image. When it printed, it became normal. We went to an old hotel. You could rent any room. Next, we went back to the main building. We sat there for a while to wait for the school bus and to rest and cool down. Finally, the bus came and drove us back to Stonebridge Public School. I fell asleep when we were on the way back.
I liked this trip because I saw a lot of things that are interesting and can't be seen in the classroom. And I learned a lot of things valuable.

Black Creek Pioneer ψiĿĿaģe Part 1

Today, we went to Black Creek Pioneer Village for a field trip. We had to go all the way on the school bus to Steels. When we arrived in the main building, the staff gave each group a map. First, we went to Sam’s Lodge. That was the person who built the pioneer house we were visiting. Each family usually had about 8 children. The people in the family had to do chores, even children. The mother always had to hang up a sign that said “Waste not Want not”. That means they need to eat all the food in their rice bowl. So if they hunted animals to eat, they would do a prayer and kill what they need only. They taught us that the oven had to run even if it was hot.

                                                                          Oven

They need to use their hands to try the temperature and count the seconds. If it hurt their hands, they would take their hands back. The teachers showed us how to turn cow milk into butter. They would have a pot to put the milk in and a lid. The lid has a hole in the middle and you put a stick in the hole. You pull the stick up and down. Up and down until it was done. They taught us how to make apple pies, too. They asked Yameen, my classmate, to cut the apples into small pieces. They asked Danielle to smoothen the butter. The teachers taught me that the people had to do the soap washing, water washing, and drying the dishes. They would dust the floor and dust the furniture. Then, we went upstairs. It was cool upstairs. The room was surrounded by lots of chairs and a spinningwheel.

                                                                     Spinning wheel

They taught us that they would shave wool from the sheep and wash it. If they didn’t wash the wool, there would be mud, pee, and poo. The children had to use brushes and make wool into long pieces. The mother put wool in the spinning wheel and they put the feet on the front step. And notice that you can feel the string turning around and around. The bulb gets filled with wool. Early in the morning, children went out of their house and got buckets to fill water in. The children pumped water and carried it back. The mother would soon wake up and use the water.
Next, we went into the storage room like the garage room but without any light. The mother would go into the garage room and use a machine to finally stitch a clothing. There were two foot pedals. There were also have strings and a bar. They didn’t waste things. So, they rip long pieces of worn out clothing. They made a stick and they put the long pieces of ripped worn out clothing between the strings. They pushed the bar up and down 2 times. Then, they didn’t make any loops and they switched the other pedal. They sang this song to remember how to do these steps. “Beep, Beep, switch your feet”.
Later, we scraped wood off with a stick. And we finished 2 scrapers. And we used the old fashioned driller. We drilled holes in the wood. Before we had lunch, the ladies gave me a oatmeal cookie, and an apple cake with butter on the top. I swallowed everything they gave us. They were so delicious. Next, we had lunch. I had one and a half hot dogs and a bottle of water.

To be continued..... go to Part 2

Ms. Foster’s class v Ms. Cliff’s class

At gym time, we played against Ms. Foster’s class in soccer. We played well. First, I shot the ball andoverof Ms. Foster’s defenders caught it. He passed it to the goalie and the goalie was supposed to kick it out to prevent the ball from going into the net. He accidentally let it go into the his own net. It was an own goal. As a result, it was 0-1. Later, there was an empty net on our side. They tried to shoot it into our net. But they missed. Next, they had an empty net and I tried to shoot but missed. After, there was no defender and one of Ms. Foster’s players shot it into our net. It was in the corner. So, it became 1-1. Then, Ms. Foster’s class had an empty net again. Yameen shot it lighly and a defender raced after it. So, I raced after the defender and kicked it into the net. What a beautiful shot! And we won. It was Ms. Foster’s class 1-2 Ms. Cliff’s class. (Aggrades was Ms. Cliff’s class 8-1 Ms. Foster’s Class.) I felt overjoyed. I hope when I get older, I can be a professinal soccer player.

Morning Recess & Lunch Recess

At morning recess I played soccer with my friend Cole. We first had more possession. We were doing well. Our defense was good and our attack was good. Then, a teammate on my team passed the ball to Benjamin and he shoot but a defender blocked it. I got the rebound and I shot it into the net. What a fantastic goal. My team was celebrating. We were wining 1-0. At the end of the first half it was 1-0 still. At lunch recess we played soccer with the same people. Next, Benjamin passed the ball to Noah and he shot it in. It was 2-0. Then, there was an empty net on our side and Cole shot it into the net. It was now 2-1. Later, Noah scored 2 more goals and Ashu on our team scored another goal. When lunch recess almost ended we quickly scored another goal. It was 6-1 and we won. I was proud of my goal and was happy for wining the game 6-1. It was a happy day.

The most Stupid Goalkeeper in the world

Today on the internet I found a video. It was called The most Stupid Goalkeeper in the world. The video started when there was a player in the middle and long passed it to a player in front of the goalkeeper. The goalkeeper saved the pass to the player in front of him. He put the ball down on the ground for 10 seconds. Suddenly, the player in front got it and he shot and he scored. I liked this movie because it is funny and the goalkeeper is Stupid and brainless.

My Balancing Game

On Saturday we went to a secondary school. We played the balance game there. But when we went there they were already finished playing the U9 balance game. But they said we could play with the U8. I was the oldest one in the U8 balance games. So I went to play. In the first shift, I played good. I dribbled past a few people and my team’s goalie was good. The goalie made only 1 save. In the second shift, I dribbled past people and shot 3 times. The last shot I did was the 4 shot. I dribbled past 3 people and I shot. It went in. It was 1-0. My teammates were happy. Next, my opponent team had the ball. They shot. My team’s goalie saved it. Then, a person dribbled and he shot. It was a goal. It was 1-1. At the end of the balance game was 1-1. I was felling good. I thought we could stay for the next balance game but we couldn’t. We had to eat the afternoon meal. So we left.

Soccer at Berzy Park

Today, we went to Berzy park to play soccer. My dad and I went on our bikes and rode to Berzy Park. My Mom drove her car to Berzy park. My mom brought along 5 cans of drinks and 2 packs of chips. There were 3 soccer fields in the park. In the right one there was a game going on. It was women soccer. In the middle one they were fixing the field and had to rebuild the field. So we used the left field. I was goalie first. I was a good goalie. I let in only 2 of all the shots. After, my dad was goalie. I was good. But after 35 minutes I had gain my muscles. I could kick very hard and very high. Next, we took drinks and we went to look at the women’s soccer game. They were only so so. They always kicked the ball outside the sideline and had to do a throw in to but the ball back in the game. Then, we went back to our field. We practiced again. This time, a lot of my shots went into the top of the net. Sometimes I kicked the ball over the net. These nets were the professional kind. The ball hit 4 times on the pole and 2 times on the crossbar. I was great at kicking it high and hard now. After my dad and I rode our bikes home and my mom rode on her car to home. Finally, my dad and I took a bath.

Crescheaven Golf Course

Today, we went to Crescheaven Golf Course to play golf. I didn’t play well with the driver for the first few holes. I had hitted the ball on the top with the driver. The ball was supposed to fly high if I hit the ball on the bottom. The ball just rolled on the ground for seconds. It was a little far away from the green. My dad asked me to hit with another ball. This time, I hitted the ball on the bottom and it went high. It went far, too. My putting wasn’t good, too. It took me lots of shots to make the ball go in. Fortunately, my chipping and pitching was good. I got a par in the fifth hole. It was a par. But when we played more holes my driver became better. On the nine hole I hitted the ball with my driver and it went on the green. That was a beautiful shot. It took me two shots for my putting. It was a par again. My dad didn’t play well. His putting was just so so. My dad hit with his driver and it went left or right. It was bad. It happened a lot of times. But we could always find his balls. A few times, my dad used an iron it was bad. Once, my dad hitted the ball with an iron. It was bad. Then, he decided that he had to hit with another ball. The second time was even worse. It was a disaster stroke. The few last holes I had to use my driver. I didn’t play well with my driver in these holes. My 5/6 was good. I used this iron for long distance pitching. In the last hole I hitted the ball on the outside of the green. I chipped the ball it was good. It was very close. It just went past the flag. It could have been a boogie. But the chip was close. It was a triple boogie. But it was still good. It went past the flag. After the last hole, we went home. It was already evening.

Ovinal v Mars North School

Today, we played mini soccer. Ovinal versed Mars North School. In the first half my team had more procession and defending. My two defenders near the goalie saved every shot. The first goal I scored was when my teammate passed the ball to the other teammate and it hit the top corner of the net and it went in. The second goal was in the middle of the goal. The third goal was when I chipped the ball over the goalie’s head and into the bottom right corner of the net. Then, it was the end of the first half. It was

Golf

Today, we went to a driving range. There was a golf clinic there. I met my coach. He was nice. I learned what the tiger stance was. Then, I begin hitting balls with my iron. After, the coach told us to hit the balls with a driver. The three coaches told us what the difference about the iron and the driver. The iron hits a shorter distance than the driver. We begin hitting balls with the driver. After a while again, the coach asked us to stop. They asked us to hit our target. Our target was to hit tennis balls using and iron and the ball will stick to the rubber. Whoever’s ball get stuck on the rubber wins. But no one won. Next, he asked us to hit golf balls using an iron. Finally, we left. It was lunchtime. So we went to Cora.

I ordered a French toast with chocolate milk. They gave me something to color. I was happy. After, we went home.

Aladdin and his wonderful magical lamp

On Thursday, April 29, 2010, we went back to school after dinner to watch a musical play. This musical was presented by Grade 5 and older students. The main characters were Aladdin and his monkey, Alakazam. Aladdin’s uncle, Jammal, was a bad guy. He wanted Aladdin to go into a cave and take a magic lamp and give it to his uncle. Aladdin didn’t give the lamp to his uncle. His uncle was angry. He gave the lamp to Princess Jasmine. Aladdin’s uncle traded a fake new lamp for the real old lamp with Princess Jasmine. He kidnapped Princess Jasmine and begged her to marry him. But Princess Jasmine would never marry him. Aladdin helped Princess Jasmine. Aladdin gave some poisonous drinks to Princess Jasmine. Then, Princess Jasmine gave the poison drink to Aladdin’s uncle. After he drank the poison drink, he died.

One of the funny parts was when Ali Bubba, the servant of the King and Queen, said “I want to marry Princess Jasmine.” Everyone laughed. But the King and Queen told the servant to SHUT UP!
There was an intermission for 10 minutes. After the intermission, they gave the wedding. There was a lot of jewelry. In between the plays, the Choir sang and there were dances. I heard an Alvin and the chipmunk’s song. I also heard a Michael Jackson song.
This play taught us not to be a bad guy because the bad guy will die. I liked this play because it was funny.

Manchester United v Tottenham Hosper

    Manchester United  3-1 Tottenham

Today I watched the second half of Manchester United v Tottenham Hosper. My dad had already turned on the T.V. It was Manchester United 0-0 Tottenham Hosper. It was exciting at the second half. I saw a lot of goals in the second half. If Berbatov scored a goal for Manchester United they would win. Berbatov was so close to score a goal for Manchester United. When someone passed the ball to him and tried to reach it the goalie would catch it. Later, one of Manchester United’s players, Nani, ran down the field towards Tottenham’s goal and tried to shoot. One of the Tottenham’s player pulled Nani down. Sir Alex Fergusson told Ryan Gigs to shoot the penalty. They scored. They celebrated. After, Tottenham had a corner. One of the players headed the ball in! It was now Manchester United 1-1 Tottenham Hosper. Next, there was a substitution for Manchester United. Macheda was on. Evra was off. Macheda passed the ball to Nani and he chipped it in. Nani yelled so loudly that the whole field could hear him. They celebrated! Then, Valencia, one of Manchester United’s players ran down the field towards Tottenham Hosper’s goal. Someone pushed him down. Another penalty! Two penalties in the game! Ryan Gigs shoot. It was a goal. Manchester United had scored on the 81 minute. They celebrated so loudly like the whole world would hear Manchester United’s players and Manchester United’s fans. I was so happy that Manchester United won! It was Manchester United 3-1 Tottenham Hosper! Manchester United was at the top of the table! I also celebrate!

The final game TremT v RogNY

Today, we went to Milliken Mills soccer club to play the final game against Rogers Neon Yellow. I played not too good on the first shift. I had to play tougher enough to beat Rogers Neon Yellow. On the second shift I played well. It was hard to dribble past the players. I only dribbled past two. I did a shot at the goal. It was close. At the third shift I was off. My teammates did well but they didn’t get a goal. At the end, one of the Rogers Neon Yellow teammates pasted the ball and shot. They got the deflection and it was a goal for Rogers Neon Yellow. At the third shift I did lots of good tackles. I made people fall down from the Rogers Neon Yellow team without fouls. At the end I did a handball by accident. At the end of the game, it was Rogers Neon Yellow 1-0 Tremor Technology. We had lost. We went to get our second place trophy. They gave everyone of my teammates two trophies. One was for the league finalists and the other one was for the second place final game. I was happy that I got two trophies. Later, we went to the big soccer nets to get our photos taken with my whole team. I also took one for me and my coach. Later, we went to McDonalds and went home.

Part two of Fire Safety Assembly WARNING: THIS IS FIRE RULES!

If someone is outside in the car and has turned his/her radio really loud, wave something out and shout to them FIRE! CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT! And if you live in an apartment, someone will have a pillow to catch you. You will have to jump down. You can also climb down the moving ladder. It might move so it is dangerous. But in your house the smoke rises. Call your parents and leave immediately. Do not stand on your feet. Crawl down low and fast. Do not look your way. Look at the smoke and where it is going to go. If you look at your way, you might burn your lungs. If you have no lungs you can’t breathe. So, don’t do that. Plan an outside meeting place so you can know were each other are. If you don’t have a meeting place outside and you are in the backyards and your parents are in the front lawn. The parents will go inside the house and look for you. This is the dangerous part. You don’t want your parents to be killed. They might be killed because when they get inside, the gas will get into their lungs and burn their lungs. There are 4 types of fire trucks. One is the water sprayer that sprays water everywhere.

Carbon Dioxide or called deadly killer

If you don’t have a carbon monoxide alarm/detector, you must buy one. If you don’t know and you have carbon monoxide in your house, you might have a chance to be killed. It has gas that you can’t touch, feel, taste, hear, and smell. It is hard to know that carbon monoxide is I your house. It is called a deadly killer. It isn’t like smoke. It mixes equally. It goes in every part in your room. This is very important.

Part one of Fire Safety Assembly WARNING: THIS IS FIRE RULES!

Today, a trained fire person came to our school to teach us about fire safety. We went to the library. Only Ms. Cliff, Ms. Foster, and Ms. Ng went to the Assembly. First, he taught us about four different kinds of smoke alarms/detectors. If you recognize what type of smoke alarm/detector, you still can’t know what sound it is going to make. Some people put the battery in the wrong way so that the alarm will stay quiet. When they are bathing, listening to music, or for other reasons they won’t be distracted. The yellow sticker will block you from putting the battery in wrong place. If you push hard it will go in. But it won’t make sound if the house is on fire because it is inserted backwards. The man told us that we must have at least one smoke alarm/detector on each level of your house. You have to at least change your smoke alarm/detector every 8-10 years or else your smoke alarm/detector won’t work. TEST YOUR FIRE ALARM BY PRESSING THE TEST BOTTON OF THE SMOKE ALARM/DETECTOR AT LEAST ONE TIME ONE MONTH. ALSO BY LIGHTNING A CANDLE AND BLOW IT OF NEAR A SMOKE ALARM/DETECTOR AND THE SMOKE WILL GO UP. THE ALARM/DETECTOR WILL RING. TRY THIS ABOUT 7-10 TIMES PER MONTH.

Door feeling warm or cold:

If you are in your bedroom and you hear the fire smoke alarm/detector, feel the bedroom door. Start from feeling with your back of your hand not your palm because it is less sensitive. Feel the door from bottom to top. Once you feel it warm stop. If you continue to touch it, it might burn your hand. If you don’t feel any warm, feel the doorknob. Just touch it quickly. If you don’t your hand will burn. If the doorknob is warm don’t open the door. Breathe through clean air in the open window and call for help. Don’t squeak because the people can’t know what you are saying.
